This season seems to be mimicking the box office trends, because there are tons of new Comic Book themed properties on the way. Agent Carter, The Flash, Constantine, and Gotham will join Arrow, The Walking Dead & Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on the comic book/superhero front. AHS: Freakshow Gets It's First Cast Poster... I Am Officially Creeped The FUCK Out!!!!

'American Horror Story' is a hell of a show, and through three seasons the show is always a surprisingly fresh take on the horror TV show genre. Using an anthology format, each season is a self-contained story and has no baring on the previous one. They also recycle cast members, often re-casting them in extremely different roles than they played in the past seasons. The show is a breath of fresh air among the many horror genre series we are getting now due to the success of 'True Blood' and 'The Walking Dead'. So in Season 4, they have to amp things up even more... and we get 'AHS: Freakshow'!!! H-O-L-YYYYY SHIT! We are getting returners: Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy, Emma Roberts, Dennis O'Hare, and many others... and the new people are equally impressive: Patti LaBelle, Michael Chicklis, John Caroll Lynch, Finn Witrock, and even the worlds smallest woman, Jyoti Amge!!! This premise (The inner workings of one of the last remaining freakshows in America, and there is some spooky shit happening behind the scenes!) bugs me out, and in typical AHS fashion I am sure whatever I am expecting will be the total opposite of what I actually get. Haunted Places by Daniel Danger

My good buddy Cal from North of the Border sent me a very cool collection of art from a guy named Daniel Danger that was featured on horror blog Trixie's Treats. Danger has a plethora of work under his belt, but his specialty seems to be capturing the magic of haunted places. Spooky houses, desolate areas, and outdoor locales are done in epic fashion by Danger... and truthfully I am getting into the Halloween spirit just looking at them! I went over to his Tumblr page and found some great ones to share with you CCDers. Thank to Trixie for posting so Cal could see and then share with me... All The 'American Horror Story: Coven' Short Teasers In One Post To Fully Freak You Out...

One of the things that I always loved about American Horror Story has been the advertising strategy that they have taken when promoting a new season of the show. They use short, concise and progressively weird clips to build momentum towards the shows premiere. Couple those clips with the weird ass music of the show and the creepy factor gets dialed up to 20... And for season 3, Coven, things are no different. First off, they chose one of the greatest songs ever (House of the Rising Son by The Animals) and re-record in a slow downed fashion with a sultry chick singer. Than they set the story in New Orleans. Then they rally up a varying number of women to be part of said Coven, ranging from series vets like Taissa Farmiga, Jamie Brewer, and Jessica Lange. Then  you add in new cast members like Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts and Gabourey Sidibe to the mix. I mean, can you really have a more talented and diverse cast of ladies on board? To finish off the promotional masterpieces they come up with 30 second shorts that are weirder and weirder than the actual show itself, which is no small feat. The result? American Horror Story: Coven - Now THIS Is Going To Get Weird!!!!

American Horror Story has been one of the creepiest shows on TV since it's inception two years ago. AHS: Asylum really turned up the insanity, and this years AHS: Coven is probably going to be even nuttier. Every season they lead into the madness with creepy ass teaser trailers, only 15 seconds long but disturbing to the point that it stays with you for a lot longer than 15 seconds. The first teaser for AHS: Coven is called 'Detention' and is pretty fucked up to say the least. Check it out after the jump and stayed tuned for many more trailers soon to follow here on CCD...

Check Out The Ladies Of Glee & American Horror Story Taking On Some Horror Classics...

Whether you like the shows that he creates or not, you gotta give Ryan Murphy credit. Nip/Tuck, Glee, and American Horror Story were all super successful in their own right, and they are extremely popular amongs their core group of fans. Mr. Murphy is certainly riding high. So high in fact that back in January Elle magazine decided to allow Murphy to re-create some classic scenes from horror movies using his female actresses from Glee & AHS and letting Murphy snap the shoot. The results are quite beautiful. If you are a fan of classic horror movies than you will love this photo shoot, and if not peruse it anyway for all the hot pieces of ass that were used for the photos. OHC of the Day (All Horror Week Edition): Alexandra Breckenridge

When I decided to pick an OHC (obscure hot chick) to be featured during All Horror Week, I tried to think of who to pick. No one better fit the profile of a sexy scream queen such as Alexandra Breckenridge. Alex plays the sexy your version of Moira the maid on FX's breakout hit TV show 'American Horror Story'. She drives the shows main male character, Dylan McDermont crazy with her skimpy outfits and sexual advances. I can't get enough of her in those garters! You may recognize Alexandra from last season of True Blood (she played one of the people in Marnie's coven) or you may recognize her voice from the hit animated show 'Familty Guy'. Either way, after the success of American Horror Story we are sure to see much more of the sexy starlet. Lets just hope she keeps the red hair and garters intact!!! 2011 Halloween TV Schedule

Halloween tends to get the shaft when it comes to TV specials when compared to the juggernaut that is Christmas. But every year our favorite hallowed holiday makes some strides and we see more and more themed programming throughout October.

I am a Halloween junkie so I will watch anything related to the holiday. No matter how lame the show is, and outside the realm of something I would normally watch. All they have to do is throw on an orange font they have got me on the line. While I love horror movies, I love them all year, so I specifically look out for shows that have a literal Halloween theme. (Click after the jump to hear more...)
