100 Days Of Monsters by Patrick Carson Sparrow

I love when I come across great artists and there fantastic work, but I even love it more when they come recommended from a good friend and have an ambitious project in the works. Artist Patrick Carson Sparrow is one of those cases... my main man Johnny from Freddy In Space has been singing his praises for years, as most of his art is horror themed. But his recent '100 monsters in 100 days' project has really captured my attention. Sparrow just decided to do 100 sketches of his favorite monsters, creatures, and killers and post 1 a day on his Facebook page. He has been remarkably efficient (most people who do these types of challenges fall off and fall behind) and he picks some great choices... not the run of the mill choices and the proof that Sparrow is the real deal when it comes to a horror fan. Adventure Times Mash-ups by Mike Vazquez

Being that I am catching up on my back episodes of Adventure Time (pretty much the best cartoon created in the last 10 years), I am obsessed with Jake, Finn and everybody else on the show. But when I saw them cast in some of my other favorite pop culture properties like The Walking Dead and Star Wars in the mashup art of Mike Vazquez, I knew I just had to post about it. 80s Movies/Video Game Mashups by Joshua Gilbert

I love me some mash-ups, especially if they involve some of my favorite 80's movies. Artist Joshua Gilbert has plenty of talent for making some killer movie posters (he has some great stuff for sale on Etsy by clicking here), but he knocked out two mash-ups that take the cake. How about a Labyrinth/Pac-Man mash-up that features and awesome grid like board with Jareth holding the baby Toby hostage in the middle. Think that is the coolest it could get? How about Dark Crystal Donkey Kong? Skeksi Kong... are you fucking kidding me? These are two fantastic pieces that need to be shared with my fellow 80s babies. Homemade Geek Bikinis? Yes Please... BOING!!!!

Etsy is a wonderful website that allows creative people to peddle their wares. There are some really creative things up for sale on there, especially for geeks like me. Tons of custom made products have you debating for hours on which things you can afford to buy and clutter your house with. But every once in a blue I come across something that is just so amazing that I have to share. This particular product is fantastic... or should I say ASSTASTIC! Lisa Galetto runs Fit 2 B Tied clothing, which specializes in custom swimwear, dancewear, and stripperwear (I swear she has that on the header of the shop... I did not make that up). Lisa has a ton of sexy bathing suits for sale, but one set draws geek ire and that is because she is using some iconic geek imagery... even if it is a small amount due to the lack of fabric in these suits! It also seems like Lisa is the model for the suits, and boy is she easy to look at. She also seems to be really hot all the time, because she is always pulling her bikini bottoms down. Poor girl. Charlie Skywalker, Fighter Pilot

Check out this very cool sculpture by artist Tom Torrey of Charlie Brown as Luke Skywalker in his X Wing fighter pilot suit. Pretty cool, no? Ya gotta love Snoopy as R2-D2 as well. This sculpture was a personal gift for a friend, but Torrey has an ETSY store where you can buy some of his art. Very cool stuff as well. Enjoy.
