Like it or not, John McClane just won't go away. 25 years ago Bruce Willis brought the tough as nails cop turned hero to the big screen and we have seen 4 incarnations of him along the way. As we are in the midst of the 5th release in the film series, Collider decided to team up with 20th Century Fox to create a infographic poster each of the films in the series, detailing all the great stuff that McClane does from soup to nuts. The kill counts, the bad guys, the amazing physical feats and activities that Bruce Willis performs throughout the series... its all there. Before you take on the 5th installment of the movie, take a look down memory lane to remember just how sick of a franchise it is based on. Enjoy the posters after the jump....

These Faux Movie Posters by Peter Stults Remind Me Of Something...
... oh yeah, that's right... they are eeirily similar to what our friend Sean Hartter has made famous over on his blog! Damn Sean, two mentions in one day! Lol.... anyway, these faux movie posters are pretty boss, and I only decided to post them because Stults himself (click here for original article) gave my boy Hartter props on inspiring the idea:
"Awhile back a friend of mine forwarded me a site (http://hartter.blogspot.com/2009/11/misc.html) where artist Sean Hartter made posters of films that, title wise, we were familiar with, but there was a slight difference; they were remade as if they belonged to a different era or a different genre, the name of the movie was there, but the actors were different, the style was different, and I loved the concept. So I went forward with this theme; what if movies we were all familiar with were made in a different slice of time? Who would be in it? Who would direct it? So here we are..."Very cool to give props for inspiration. You can proceed after the jump to see my faves and then click here to see all the other ones that I did not include because all of them are pretty cool...

Alan Rickman Shows Why He Is One Of My Favorite Actors Ever
I have loved Alan Rickman ever since I first saw him as a Hans Gruber in Die Hard. He has gone on to make some amazing movies, from playing the voice of God Metatron in Dogma to The Sheriff of Nottingham in Costner's Robin Hood. But for the last 10 years he has forged a career as Severus Snape, teacher of a little wizard by the name of Harry Potter. For a generation of kids who grew up on the Potter books and movies, Snape (and therefore Rickman) will always be in their hearts as a truly conflicted character who is quite complicated and just as important to the story as Harry himself. With the last Potter movie almost upon release, Rickman recognizes just how important this role has been and he took out a full page advertisement in Empire Magazine to say goodbye to the Harry Potter franchise and a big Thank You to author JK Rowling. A classy gesture from a classy man. Here it is for your enjoyment:
