Canadian Delicacy Comes To McDonalds

Poutine is a Québécois dish consisting of gravy and cheese curd over French fries. It’s popular in Canada, where it’s eaten as fast food and a comfort food. McDonald’s restaurants in Quebec sell it. Now that I am  in my 30s I have to admit that I can't eat McDonald's anymore. Not because the menu has changed drastically or because I don't want to... that is not the case at all. It is simply due to the fact that my stomach can't take the horrible quality food anymore. God knows that I still love me an apple pie every once and again, and that I feel the Egg McMuffin should be considered a national treasure... but lets be honest : The food at McDonald's is pretty crappy. LEGO Iconic Vol #12 by Jeff Bond

I am such a huge Lego nerd that words can not explain. Soooo I've decided to use my favorite blog site CCD.com as an outlet to get some of this stuff that I see every day, built out of bricks, out of my skull and onto the blogosphere where it can't hurt my cerebral cortex. Thanks to Briana, Janice, Mike D, and the rest of the hordes of 'Lego Iconic' enthusiasts who could not wait to inform me that Fergie of 'The Black Eyed Peas' performed with said group at the '2011 Kid's Choice Awards' clad in a head-to-toe Lego ensemble. Mrs. Duhamel strutted her stuff to the tune 'The Time (Dirty Bit)' as reported most concisely by the staff over at Have You Heard.net. Some say "Buttaface"...I say "But...her Legos!" 

"Gotta get that.....gotta get that....gotta geeeeeeet that..that...that!"

A constant to the posts of 'Lego Iconic',Morgan19, has outdone himself this time...and space, with his 'Dark Helmet'  minifigure from the cult classic 'Star Wars' spoof 'SpaceBalls'. That's a 'Playmobil' knights helmet (without it's visor) substituted atop a regular sized helmet for support. The 'Swartz' are with Morgan's building techniques for sure!

Tiny Ronald feels a little 'McGuilty' in this aptly titled J. SalvadorDesign piece.

DEVIANT ARTist Bob Guy re-imagined the Joe team as CobrA Elite..and vicey-versey in hisss cutsey piece 'G.I. Joe Mirror Universe'. This piece literally had me lying awake at night wondering why I hadn't pondered this myself in my youth. I imagined a 'Jon Hamm' esque...raven haired, scar faced but superbly uniformed evil version of 'Duke'. A 'Destro' that had let his torturous family tradition of donning the traditional iron mask die with him and instead joined the forces of Joe-dom. (sigh) The possibilities are endless. DEVIANT ARTist Mike P Mitchell has an interesting take one of my favorite Disney Superheroes in his piece 'DarkWing Duck'. When there's trouble...you call D.W.!
