Mario is a very familiar character from the most popular video game franchise on the planet. Even non gamers can pick him out of a lineup. So naturally he and his Mushroom World brethren are popular targets for fan art & videos all over the Internet. The gang over at Too Lazy Too Live have decided to take Mario in a place that I never thought I would see him go... into the world of The Human Centipede!!! Conan O'Brien Once Again Proves Why He Is The Coolest Late Night TV Host In The Game...

Conan O'brien has long proven that he is light years ahead of Jay Leno & David Letterman when it comes to understanding current pop culture. He knows what people are buzzing about, and then he finds a way to integrate it into his show in some outrageous way. Case in point: The Human Centipede Menorah!!! Holy fucking shit, this is genius. I know that the Human Centipede has been around for a bit now (over a year), but it is definitely still fresh in people's minds. Fuck Censorship!!!! C'mon Britain, Your Better Then This...

I am a big fan of Empire Magazine, and since I can't always get it on the newsstand (I know, I should just subscribe) I often read it online. My buddy Jeff Bond sent me a really cool article that Empire just ran discussing the fact that Britain's movie rating body has ruled 'The Human Centipede II' as obscene, therefore making the movie illegal to posses & sell in the country in both theaters and on DVD. This is 2011, so you can imagine how shocked I am about something like this. Who the fuck do these people think they are???

Listen, I understand the need for a ratings system. I also understand that certain stuff shouldn't be shown to kids. But to ban something in it's entirety making it impossible to be seen by fans who are of age seems to be ridiculous. How can they do something like this? Slap an XXX rating on it, make it hard for theaters to want to show it since it will have lots of restrictions, do whatever you want... but ouright banning it? That's just medieval. Not to mention how much of a dick these guys looked like by HOW they announced it. Check this shit out.

In their statement about the ruling of The Human Centipede Pt II, these douche nuggets revealed a ton of spoilers about the upcoming horror flick to justify why they reached the decision to ban the film. The problem with that is that director Tom Six and the rest of the cast & crew has kept details about the upcoming sequel under tight wraps... until these assholes blabbed key plot points in their ruling statement. So not only did these guys make it impossible for people in Britain to see the film, but they also have ruined it by talking about what is in the film!!! Are you kidding me? What the fuck.

Tom Six & the new psycho, Boxhead

I won't publish any of the spoilers that the Board revealed about the film, but director Tom Six reached out to  Empire to offer a response to the ruling film body in Britain. Here it is:

“Thank you BBFC for putting spoilers of my movie on your website and thank you for banning my film in this exceptional way. Apparently I made an horrific horror-film, but shouldn't a good horror film be horrific? My dear people it is a f****cking MOVIE. It is all fictional. Not real. It is all make-belief. It is art. Give people their own choice to watch it or not. If people can't handle or like my movies they just don't watch them. If people like my movies they have to be able to see it any time, anywhere also in the UK.”

That is extremely well said. The board could have just said that their reasoning was based on sexually graphic & violent behavior in the film... they did not need to get into specifics. What a bunch of pompous dickheads. The best part is that by doing this, the Board has pretty much RAISED the awareness of the film and will probably encourage even more people to see it. That's the way it works. You take something away from people and they want it more. Didn't these guys ever see Footloose? I was a fan of the original, and I can't wait for the sequel. WTF... A Human Centipede MUSICAL!!!!

Here is a group of Emerson students performing a 70 minute MUSICAL version of The Human Centipede... words can't do justice to what went through my head when I saw this over at Filmdrunk the other day. I absolutely loved the original movie, and I had the pleasure of meeting the three actors who played the centipede in the movie at last years Big Apple Comic Con. Ashlynn Yennie and Ashley Williams are both gorgeous and super nice, and Akihiro Kitamura was the man!!! I wonder what they would think about this ambitious project.... Netflix Instant Streaming, I Love You So.... 11/17/2010 Picks!!!

It's another week, so that means chances are I have watched another dozen or so movies on Netflix Instant Streaming this week. The number would have probably been higher, but I am obsessing over the downloadable version of Mike Tyson's Punch Out I order on Virtual Wii and I can't get to the last circuit... damn you Soda Popinski!!!! Anywho, here are a few recommendations from my viewing experience for you to look into. Trust me, they won't disappoint!!!

The Human Centiepede (First Sequence) - 2010

Good god, thank you sooooo much!!! I have been raving about The Human Centipede for quite a while here at CCD... hell, I may have been one of the first blogs on the Internet to talk about this sick fucking movie (Click here if you don't believe me... Jan 10 kid!!!). The fact that once I actually saw the movie and loved it made me feel good inside. No matter how sick you may find it, to me it was everything and more I thought it would be. Laser is amazing as Dr Heiter, a new horror icon for the 21st century. Tom Sixx has really created a creepy fuck to perpetrate the horrors of this insane movie. Both Ashley C Williams & Ashley Yennie are smoking hot, and Akihiro provides some funny comic ramblings in his native Japanese.... I really don't understand the people who say they didn't like this one. Sure its got a paper thin plot, it's medically inaccurate, and its a stretch. It's a movie about assholes being sewn to mouths... what the fuck did you think it was going to be, Casablanca??? If you haven't seen it yet, give it a whirl. Trust me, you might find it fun. This is the best addition to Netflix Instant Streaming since the put Black Dynamite on.... can you say modern day Grindhouse double feature with The Human Centipede & Black Dynamite??? I can... and will!!!!

CCD Meets The Human Centipede At The 2010 Big Apple Comic Con

During the 2010 Big Apple Comic Con Mike D and Tommy had the opportunity to meet and interview lots of people. One of the coolest groups, by far, were also the ones who were getting the most stares... the trio of actors/actresses that portrayed the centipede in the 2010 surprise hit The Human Centipede. Akihiro Kitamura, Ashlynn Yennie and Ashley C Williams were super cool and more then happy to chat with us for a bit about things like what it was like to be in such a surprise hit of a film, what kind of diet they were on during the shoot, the comfort level actors must have when shooting a film ass to mouth with your co-stars, where Dr Heiter places amongst the new lexicon of modern horror evil doers, and how they auditioned for the film using only their eyes to convince director Tom Six they were the right ones for the gig... its all right here:

Very cool stuff from a very cool group. I love these guys, I really do. They were great and I look forward to meeting up with them again. OHC Of The Day: Ashlynn Yennie

Whenever I'm choosing another lovely young lady to feature in our OHC column (Obscure Hot Chick) it takes me awhile to figure out who I'm going to pick. The goal of this column is to expose you guys to someone who is kinda on the radar but poised to bust out in a major way. It helps that they are easy to look at (always a bonus). Ashlynn Yennie fits this description to a T. Even though she starred in one of last years most talked about features, The Human Centipede, you would be hard pressed to pick her out of a crowd. That's probably because she spent around 3/4 of the film with her mouth attached to the ass of her beautiful co-star Ashley C. Williams (a up & coming OHC in her own right... check back soon!). Now even though that sounds promising (perverts), those of you guys who have seen the movie know that its not so sexy. I was a fan of the flick from the moment I saw it, and having been lucky enough to meet the centipede trifecta at the 2010 Big Apple Comic Con I am even more inclined to jump on the bandwagon. Ashlynn was gracious enough to take a bit extra time after our interview with the group to discuss her role in the Bloody Best photography project. Even though the project is shrouded in secrecy, Yennie told us there is more to come... and she will be featured in more photos. She also has another horror movie getting lots of buzz, called Fetch, coming soon. She also hinted that we might see her in some more mainstream "franchise/tent pole" movie coming soon, but couldn't comment further (or did she... I caught that hint Ash!!!) She is also getting involved with the Bowling for Boobies charity, which you can get more info on by clicking here. Oh Sh*t, I Hope You Guys Are Hungry.... Here Comes The Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence!!!

 

Dutch director Tom Six is back at it again, and this time we get a dude likely to be called "Boxhead" forever as the bearer of bad news. We talked about the original The Human Centipede in one of CCDs first stories ever and wondered just what kind of mind could think up something as sick as sewing three people ass to mouth... and then we saw the movie on Video On Demand. While it is definitely one of the sickest and most disturbing movies I have ever seen, it was also remarkably well rounded and actually a very good movie (albeit pretty fucked up!!!) Dr Heiter jumped very high on the list of lunatics in the history of cinema, and after the film was over I immediately wondered if they could possibly turn a sequel out of it. Well director Six just started filming The Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence, which will feature the afore mentioned "Boxhead", aka Martin, who plans on executing Dr. Heiter's evil plans to the tune of a 12 person centipede. A 12 PERSON CENTIPEDE!!!!! WTF... I honestly wonder how people who think up shit like this are not automatically placed on some FBI watch list. So, here is the question I pose to my wonderful CCDer's: Have you seen the first Human Centipede, and will you see the second, evem sicker Human Centipede 2?
