"It's The Final Countdown..." - Arrested Development Season 4 Goes Live in 3,2,1...

I think I have been doing a pretty good job by my standards of not over-hyping the arrival of Season 4 of Arrested Development on Netflix. No one is more excited than me, and I have just finished a marathon re-watch of the shows 3 seasons as well as celebrated with Tommy Lombardozzi & Cousin Stevie in our first annual "Arrested Development Luncheon" complete with chocolate covered bananas and seals wearing ties (OK, maybe there were no seals in ties... but who cares really?). So now that we are only three days away from the shows new season going live on May 26th, I think it may be time to celebrate just how excited I really am. I am so excited, I think I just Blue myself (hahaha... inside jokes abound). So lets just get to the meat and potatoes of it all... here is the Season 4 extended trailer! Complete with Buster's hook hand, Pop Pop's hi jinks  George Michael's awkwardness, martial bliss between Lindsay and Tobias, Gob performing an illusion in a toga, Lucille being psychologically terrifying, and Michael just being Michael aka taking everyone's bullshit and cleaning it up!!!! Over A Dozen New Posters For The New Season Of 'Arrested Development' Highlight Past Great Gags From The Show....

I am currently re-watching Arrested Development on Netflix in preperation of the upcoming season 4 of the show that will be premiering on May 26th. Any fan of the show knows that it is a plethora of wink wink moments and one liners that a true fan of the show giggles at every time someone brings it up. The whole crux of the humor on the show hinge on these moments, objects, and situations.... and it is truly a inside joke-fest for all those in on the situation. Given the fact that the whole purpose of Season 4 is to set up the feature length film for the show, I am sure we are going to be treated to many more of these inside jokes. But in order to promote the new show, they are breaking out the old gags to try an hook the former audience back in for one last hurrah. Any fan of the show will love these awesome posters. Gadgets & Gizmos: An Art Show @ Bottleneck Galleries, Brooklyn

Bottleneck Galleries is one of the first galleries to be opened in NY that primarily focuses on pop culture themed art shows. The gang over there has an excellent eye for cool pieces, a ton of great ideas for show possibilities, and a work ethic that keeps the exhibits opening soon after one closes. Hot of the finale of the 'Alternate Endings' show comes 'Gizmos & Gadgets', an art show that focuses on the machines & technology of some of your favorite movies of all time. Ripley's front loader mech suit from Alien? Yup. Gob's Segeway from Arrested Development? Yup. Numerous Batman gadgets from his utility belt? Most definitely. Inspector Gadgets whole body, diagrammed X-Ray style? Oh yeah! These are just a few of the wacky and wild illustrations you will find in the collection for this show. The show opened  on January 18th and runs through February 3rd, so try to get yourself down there and buy one of these cool pieces of art. The prices for the last show were relatively affordable, so hopefully you can find something in your price range to bring home and support local artists at the same time! Arrested Development Cast: Reunited!!!!!

Arrested Development is one of the best shows that not a lot of people have ever seen. It is madness to me that more people haven't watched this amazing show, but truth is if the show had more viewers then it would have never left the air in the first place. But with a rebirth on the horizon (albeit via Netflix Instant Streaming), Entertainment Weekly decided to include the cast in its annual Reunion Issue. This issue is one of my faves of the year because they reunite classic casts of TV shows & movies that we all love. But this is one of the first times a cast has been included and the show is still going to add new episodes. "Unreal Estate" Is An Art Show That Takes Us To Our Favorite TV Locations

Spoke Art has done it again! Starting yesterday (Feb. 2nd) and running through Feb. 23rd artist Tim Doyle will be taking you through the many locales of our favorite pop culture locals. All of the pieces have not been released yet, but a few have and they are very cool. The Bluths Are Back... You Better Get Your Netflix Accounts Right!!!

Arrested Development may very well be one of the all time best comedies to ever air on American television. Anybody who has watched the show knows this to be true. But in that statement lies the problem... Fox constantly moved the show's time slot and it never garnered the ratings that the network wanted. So it got cancelled way before it should have. Ever since it was cancelled, there have been all kinds of rumors of the return of the Bluth family: a series revival, a new network, and even a possible movie. But all of those things proved to be false... Netflix Instant is going to be the platform where we get more misadventures from this classic cast!!! Netflix Instant Streaming, I Love You So.... 11/17/2010 Picks!!!

It's another week, so that means chances are I have watched another dozen or so movies on Netflix Instant Streaming this week. The number would have probably been higher, but I am obsessing over the downloadable version of Mike Tyson's Punch Out I order on Virtual Wii and I can't get to the last circuit... damn you Soda Popinski!!!! Anywho, here are a few recommendations from my viewing experience for you to look into. Trust me, they won't disappoint!!!

The Human Centiepede (First Sequence) - 2010

Good god, thank you sooooo much!!! I have been raving about The Human Centipede for quite a while here at CCD... hell, I may have been one of the first blogs on the Internet to talk about this sick fucking movie (Click here if you don't believe me... Jan 10 kid!!!). The fact that once I actually saw the movie and loved it made me feel good inside. No matter how sick you may find it, to me it was everything and more I thought it would be. Laser is amazing as Dr Heiter, a new horror icon for the 21st century. Tom Sixx has really created a creepy fuck to perpetrate the horrors of this insane movie. Both Ashley C Williams & Ashley Yennie are smoking hot, and Akihiro provides some funny comic ramblings in his native Japanese.... I really don't understand the people who say they didn't like this one. Sure its got a paper thin plot, it's medically inaccurate, and its a stretch. It's a movie about assholes being sewn to mouths... what the fuck did you think it was going to be, Casablanca??? If you haven't seen it yet, give it a whirl. Trust me, you might find it fun. This is the best addition to Netflix Instant Streaming since the put Black Dynamite on.... can you say modern day Grindhouse double feature with The Human Centipede & Black Dynamite??? I can... and will!!!!
