Tales From The Toybox - Big Jim's P.A.C.K.


These days I seem to be talking more about the toys I DIDN'T have. When I was a kid I so wanted these action figures. I had all the other Big Jim stuff so these were a natural progression. I just never saw them in my local stores and even today I cannot find them on Ebay for a reasonable price in Euros (since all Big Jim figures seem to come from Europe these days).

Tuesdays From The Collection Of Cool - Part Deux


From now on I will be posting articles about toys and toy collecting over here at Cultural Compulsion Disorder. (CCD). I can't thank my 'New York Connection' at the CCD enough for the opportunity to expand my balloon juice to a wider audience. Plus I NEED my NYC friends in case I ever make that vision quest to The Big Apple.

Tales From The Collection Of Cool Vol #1

When I was a kid I had a ton of action figures. This Johnny West was  the first one I ever owned. I need to find the picture of me as a two year old holding this toy.

From Big Jim to GI Joe (the 12 inches) to the Mego superheroes, I had everything. My vehicles and costumes filled a large trunk. My Evil Knievel and Six Million Dollar Man figures were among my favourites.
