You know... a complete show! I have been a big fan and supporter of AHS for its first three seasons on the air, and was a huge fan of this current season right up until the end. But they really botched all the great work they had done prior in the first 10 episodes of this season with the final two. It was a mess, and seemed rushed... kind of like they didn't know how to end something that started with so much promise. But with TV channels striking horror gold with shows like The Walking Dead, AHS, Bates Motel, Grimm, and the plethora of vampire shows on the air prove that horror is working right now. So Showtime has decided to get in on the game, and they have their own "horror" themed show coming to the air with Penny Dreadful. Penny Dreadful is a look into life in Victorian England for some of the greatest creations of horror fiction. Imagine if Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, Dorian Grey, etc were all real... they would have to live somewhere, right? What might that look like? Eva Green and her cast mates will help us figure that out. I am in for a couple of reasons: 1) Being a cable channel, we will get tons of blood, violence and nudity. 2) Eva Green is beautiful 3) This can be fun, in the vein of League of Extraordinary Gentleman. The show comes out in May (May 11th) and we finally have a full trailer. Enjoy it after the jump....

Will ' Penny Dreadful' Be What American Horror Story: Coven Couldn't?

Proof That There Is A God: Emmy Rossum Edition
It is shameful that we have not featured this 'Shameless' actress here on CCD yet. So now we rectify that problem. Pictures after the jump...

Fro Is Back At It... And This Time It's Dexter!!!
I just finished up Season 5 of Dexter and I have to say that it is consistently one of the best shows I watch. It is amazing. I did a post on artist Fro Design's Lost art work the other day, and when I was perusing his site I came across these four Dexter pictures. He did these in honor of Michael C Hall beating cancer... which makes them even better. There were 20 of each of them... and you might be able to still score one by clicking here and checking out his prints for sale page. Very good stuff. Hope you enjoy...

Dexter's Labora..... Er,Um.... Killing Room
I love this mash up of Dexter's Laboratory & everyones favorite serial killer/forensic expert Dexter from the Showtime show. Two of my all time faves. Although I have seen the two mixed before (nice shirt Jeff!!!) but never in action figure format. Is that a Powder Puff Girl on the kill table? I always knew those bitches were up to no good... gotta love the slice on the cheek as well, no? Thanks to Unreality Mag for the tip and Rafa Gnomo for being so innovative!!! Enjoy!!!

Is This Dexter's New Adversary... or His New Chick???
Coming off the heels of a John Lithgow's Emmy winning performance for 'Best Supporting Actor' in season 4 of one of my favorite shows, 'Dexter', Showtime has issued a press release touting 'Julia Stiles' as next seasons guest star. The actress, best known for her work in Matt Damon's 'Bourne' series and 'Save The Last Dance' which has been known to air all weekend, every weekend... ad nauseum on cable.
"LOS ANGELES, CA June 7, 2010 – Julia Stiles has joined the cast of SHOWTIME’s Emmy-nominated drama series DEXTER. Stiles, who will appear in ten episodes in the upcoming fifth season, will play a mysterious young woman who forms a unique relationship with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) in the wake of the death of his wife. Production on season five begins this month and will premiere in the fall on SHOWTIME."
A 'unique relationship', eh? Will she be....
A) a young murderous protege' of Dexter's?
B) a sexy new temptress who helps Dexter get over the death of his wife, Rita.
C) a hot new police officer that wears a pair of slacks better than Dexter's sister, Debra.
D) All of the above
What say you?
