I hate a great time participating in this years 2013 A to Z Blogger Challenge, a challenge that was very fun to complete. I joined almost 2,000 other blogs in doing 26 posts from Monday through Saturday during the month of April. I chose to go with a theme for the entire challenge. Since each day was a designated letter (Day 1 - A, Day 2 - B, etc) I decided to pick a movie starting with that letter and then do a pictorial run of the hottest female in the film. I started off with Liv Tyler in Armageddon and finished up with Elizabeth Banks in Zack & Miri Make A Porno. Along the way I chose some interesting films and the hottest of the hotties... and it was really cool to do it. I got a few new visitors to the site, an I also came across a lot of cool blogs from my fellow challengers. So, in honor of it being finished, I have decided to put together a post that organizes all 26 of my 2013 posts in one place. You can find them all after the jump.... Can't wait till next year!!!!!
I have always loved the movie Donnie Darko. It holds a special place in my heart, and it helped bring Seth Rogen one step closer to fame (yup, he's in there... I swear!!!). Not to mention the awesome soliloquy about Smurf's & their cocks that Jake Gyllenhaal gives... priceless. I have always liked Frank the Talking Bunny from the movie, and when I visited Bubba Shelby's art blog and saw this awesome rendition of Frank I knew right away I had to throw it up on CCD. Hope you enjoy.

Anybody who reads this site knows that I am a movie freak... I watch way to many films, and I am a cinefile of epic proportions. I am also trainng my 8 year old son Mikey to follow in my footsteps in the way of the order... But thats neither here or there. Since I have such a vast knowledge of movies, here are 10 movies that you probably have never seen (or heard of!!!) that you need to watch.... ASAP!!! Make these happen... you will be a better movie watcher afterwards. Here we go:
Danger Diabolik - Crazy Italian 1960's superhero/spy movie
Santa Sangre - Cult classic that features a fucked up circus and mongoloids... what else do you want?
BloodSucking Freaks - Torture Horror from the 70's... the real deal!
The Krays - A true story English gangster movie about twin crimelords. Awesome.
Hysterical - Terrible 80's B-movie comedy that is so bad its great.
Brotherhood of the Wolf - French werewolf movie set in the 1700's.
Men of Respect - Gangster retelling of Macbeth with John Turturro, Peter Boyle, and Rod Steiger
The Wizard of Gore - The godfather of all modern gore movies.
Murder by Death - Neil Simon adaption of a Clue-like murder mystery way before Clue. Great Cast.
Saturday the 14th - Horror spoof with Jeffrey Tambor that is classic 80's.
Hi, this is Jeff Bond here. I usually don't write much in my articles on CCD, but when I saw this picture from the upcoming Michael Bay film Transformers 3: Darkside of the Moon, I had to weigh in. You guys know how much I hate Michael Bay... but thats all n the past now. Just look at this awesome poster for Transformers 3:
Holy. Shit!!!! I am super excited for this film, and it seems as if Bay has learned the error of his ways and is on the right track here. And the abbreviation is genius... you gotta love the TF3 baby!!! I'm all in on this one... and I'll finally admit that Mike D has gotten me to see the light on Michael Bay & the Transfromers franchise. Stay posted for more updates...
A definite highlight of my weekend at the 2010 NYC Comic Con was meeting and interviewing director Tomm Moore. While you may not be familiar with his name (that is sure to change!), you have probably heard of his Oscar nominated animated film The Secret of the Kells. Now if you haven't heard of The Secret of the Kells... well, then you must have been living under a rock last year. It was the story of the Oscar season and some thought it might have given Pixar's Up a run at best animated feature. I had heard great stuff about this imported feature, so I took my ass down to the Village and caught a screening of it at one of the independent theaters... and my mind was blown. I even wrote a suggestion to go see the film way back in March. Kells is one of the greatest cartoon/animated features I had ever seen, bar none. Imagine my surprise when I received an email asking if I would like to interview the man behind the camera and story... I made it the cornerstone of my weekend!
I caught up with Tomm at the New Video booth, and we sat down to tape an interview. He was a very cool guy and we jumped right in. Tomm was cool enough to show us some pages from the online graphic novel on his Ipad, talk about what its like to have this much success his first time out the box, and lots of more interesting topics. What a great interview. I can not wait for Tomm's next project, because if Kells is any indication of what he can do than this is just the beginning of a wonderful career for him. You can catch the Secret of the Kells on Netflix Instant Streaming or you can buy it on Blu-Ray/DVD by going to the New Video online store or wherever else movies are sold.
