The Joker Eats A Snickers Bar...
I have always giggled at those stupid Snickers commercials that show a group of people with one of them being some celebrity acting nuts, like Joe Pesci or Robin Williams. Then their friends tell them to eat a Snickers cause they get nuts when they are hungry, and viola.. the person is back to their regular self as they enjoy their nuget-y goodness. But in the latest commercial from the candy company we get a visit from The Clown Prince of Crime, the Joker himself. A cool nerd twist to the commercial series. Gotta love that this Joker is in the style of Caesar Romero's Joker from the Batman '66 TV show. Enjoy it after the jump...

Commercially Acclaimed Vol #22 - Snickers ft. Joe Pesci & Don Rickles
TV commercials are a part of our everyday lives as TV viewers. Even though Tivo and DVR have allowed us to "skip through" the commercials, the advertising companies are still trying to peak our interests by coming up with creative commercials. To me, great commercials are an art form and are under appreciated by a society that is always trying to speed through things. Think about it... how many times did you see a great commercial that made you laugh hysterically or want to go out and purchase the advertised product??? And how many times has the best part of the Super Bowl been the commercials during a blow out game??? Whether you want to admit it or not, commercials are cool as shit... and here are some of my favorites.
This weeks spot features two amazing actors, Joe Pesci & Don Rickles craving candy bars that can satisfy their hunger. I love these Snicker commercials, especially the past ones that featured Betty White & Abe Vigoda and Aretha Franklin. Very good idea, and this one is no exception. "What do you model... gloves?" That's priceless. Check it out:

Snickers + Zombies = Survival
I have been watching a lot of the 2010 World Cup this week, and I keep seeing this new Snickers/Zombies at the office commercial... it's so cool that I wanted to share it with you guys. The only problem is I couldn't find it ANYWHERE (It's like I made it up in my head. No mention of it AT ALL on the web) Hopefully I will find it for you guys soon.
But when I was searching for the commercial on Youtube, I did come across this fanmade Snickers/Zombie commercial by Blinky 88888, and I thought it was pretty cool in a "Shaun of the Dead" type way. So I included it here. Nothing satifies like a Snickers...lol!!!

Super Bowl XLIV: What Was Your Favorite Advertisements?

Everyone gets a kick out of the commercials, and to be perfectly honest with you it's the commercials that more people are talking about the next day. The networks charge top dollar for the spots that air during the game, and companies want to make sure that you remember the spots that you watched for years to come. Here are my favorite and least favorite Ad's of the game this year.
Favorites:
Sneak Attack Ninja by Doritos
Betty White by Snickers
Least Favorite:
Men Without Pants by Dockers
Taco Bell: It Rocks, It Rocks by Taco Bell
So there you go, just my opinion of the best and worst of Super Bowl XLIV. Hulu has set up this channel on it's page called Adzone, a site where you can see all of yesterdays Ad's in one spot.
Enjoy, and let me know the ones you liked the best or hated the least. Congrats New Orleans, you deserve it!!!
