Wow, our first "Movie & Music" night @ The Wicked Monk went well. We had such a great time... the drinks were flowing, the artwork was amazing, the costumes were phenomenal, and movie... well, the movie speaks for itself. Joe Panther Presents: Some Songs I Wrote...

I've been writing and playing music for nearly 20 years now. Here's a sample of some of the songs I've written. -Joe Panther

Empathy 101 came shortly after I was laid off from my job of 9 years. I was feeling nervous and playing the guitar helped me get through the shock of it all.



This song inspired the MassageNerd on youtube to make it his background music for one of his videos. "Who is he, you ask?". Look him up on youtube and prepare to be relaxed!

I wrote this song recently for my friend Kristen. She's amazing beyond words. She's so cool to talk to and she's a great photographer as well. I'm starting to love her.. In a friendly way, of course. *fingers crossed behind my back* :p

"Adrift In A Dark Cloud" - A Short Story by Joe Panther

I woke up to find what looked to be a staircase coming through my ceiling. Obviously this can't be right, I said, as I rubbed my blurry eyes in search of clarity.

Not much in the way of progress as i continued to stare at what couldn't be possible. How..? Better yet, when? Who could've built a staircase in my room without awaking me? I guess stranger things have happened, but this is reserved the strangest of folk. Not myself. And I refuse to believe that those steps just magically appeared. As soon as I'm done showering, I'm going to get to the bottom of this staircase nonsense!

The nerve of whoever did this.. The college dorms around here are seriously in need of some beefed up security. I don't deserve this childish treatment! I have tons of studying to do today and there's some crazy staircase on my ceiling.. ha ha ..Very fucking funny!

Demented Disneys - The title says it all! Demented Joe turning childhood icons into drugged out, psychotic, and destructive degenerates. That's what I do! I got a kick out of animating this. Now everyone wants a movie. Yeah right.. You want to pay me, bitch?! Nah.. I'd do it if I had any solid ideas behind it. I don't, unfortunately. Not one! Pisses me off..

Michael Myers: The Devil's Eyes - Speed drawings can be annoying. I wanted to get it done in under an hour, but it took nearly three hours to finish. Then all that compression to speed it up is ridiculous when you're using imovie. Final Cut all the way!

I'm still considering selling this, but it won't be cheap. It's all ready framed and on my wall. So for that reason, it's worth more 'cause I'll have to part with it… And because it's from me, you should be honored and willing to pay more. :D

I was thoroughly creeped out by this, so if you are a fan of horror or have begun to trust my general opinion since I bring you all this wonderful stuff everyday, give it a watch.
