Boxes Full of Halloween by Todd Rodgers











Kids Halloween costumes these days have amazing Halloween costumes. They look look incredibly accurate, and generally have a price tag that really scares parents! Not long ago though, American Halloween costumes may have been far less accurate a representation of their SOURCE....but they held a hell of a lot of heart for a generation. Todd Rogers os Junk Fed takes us back to a time where the spirit of Halloween itself could stack neatly in a corner at a perfect 90 degrees..

Ben Cooper Costumes Revisited


Anyone reading this who was a kid up through the mid-1980s probably spent at least a few Halloweens trolling for candy in a costume manufactured by the Ben Cooper Company.

Founded in 1937, Ben Cooper, Inc. specialized in inexpensive Halloween costumes based on fictional archetypes, historical figures, and pop culture characters. Starting with Superman in the 1950s, expanding in the 1960s and '70s, the company produced dozens of variations of costumes based on superheroes.
