'Peter Dinklage' Are The Only Words One Needs For The Best Game of Thrones Theme Song Ever...

Peter Dinklage has made his mark as Tyrion Lannister on Game of Thrones. He has quickly risen up the ranks as one of the greatest characters in the history of television. His short stature only makes his powerful work that much cooler. This cat commands the screen whenever he is on, and the character is so well written and executed that you can't help but love him even when it may call for you to loathe him. Be as it may, I never thought that loving Tyrion so much would lead me to like... no not like, love... a version of the Game of Thrones theme song composed of just utterances of his name. Yup, this is about as awesome as it sounds. Enjoy this on your Game of Thrones Monday....

Game of Thrones Meets Marvel vs Capcom... Fight!!!!

My main man Joe Fletch and I shared many hours of our year in college living together playing video games. The one that we played the most was definitely Marvel vs Capcom II. We played that game a hell of a lot... well, actually, that isn't totally true. The majority of the time we spent playing that game involved Joe repeatedly kicking my ass. I never won a round... ever! But he was abnormally good, and it made me a better player. One of my favorite aspects of that game had to be the help you could call in from your teammates. It made who you picked to be on your team really, really important. That brings us to some fantastic Game of Thrones fan art from Dynamaito. He constructed a MvC style fight between Lannister Lions Cersei & Tyrion, but it is their back up that makes the picture so cool. Tyrion has the hard striking Bronn to help him defeat his sister, while Cersei has soft ass Joffrey cowering behind her... a real life version of 'back up'!!! Game of Thrones: Just the Sex & Nudity - A Supercut That Is Totally Not Safe For Work

Game of Thrones is heavy on sex and nudity... that is not necessarily a surprise to anyone who watches the show. But I really had no idea how much nudity occurred until I saw this crazy supercut video from the Huffington Post. This is extremely unsafe to WATCH AT WORK, unless your work in an environment where dwarfs banging hookers & incest amongst royals is encouraged... but when you get home tonight, check this one out! 'The Rains of Castamere' by The National

Anyone who is reading or has read the 'A Song of Ice & Fire' book series by George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones for people who only watch the TV show) knows what a stickler for details. one of the things he is known for is including songs that the different families and people of the 7 Kingdoms sing. Martin frequently puts whole verses of his songs into the narrative text of the books to drive home how important these songs are to the relaying of history in a time long before published books were prevalent. While songs like 'The Bear and the Maiden Fare' & 'The Song of the Seven' serve to relive some past battle or tell a story, one of the songs sticks out for its shear viciousness and malice. This song is 'The Rains of Castamere', which details how the Lannisters destroyed a whole family of nobles who rebelled against their power. Now hipster faves The National have sung a version for the Season 2 soundtrack, and it sounds as spooky and ominous as I would have thought it should. Game Of Thrones: The Video Game by Dynamaito

I am smack in the middle of A Storm of Swords, the third book in A Song of Ice & Fire saga (Game of Thrones for you non literature knuckleheads) by George R.R. Martin and I am loving every second of it. The second season of the hit HBO show is back on the air and I am consuming as much material containing these characters as I possibly can. Today I came across some really cool concept pieces from a Deviant Artist by the name of Dynamaito, who decides to put a "Street Fighter" spin on the folks from Westeros. He has released twio pieces so far, one a title card featuring the feuding Lannister siblings (Tyrion vs Cersei) and a in fight shot of Robb Stark Vs Khal Drogo. Both are phenomenal and I can't wait to see more. Weapon Tyrion by Brandon Bird

I am completely enthralled with George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice & Fire" book series right now, so when I see a mash-up photo featuring The Imp dressed like Wolverine... well, that gets an automatic re-post!!! Artist Brandon Bird does an excellent job of portraying Tyrion Lannister (probably my favorite character in the series) as Wolverine from the X movies.
