Every now and then it seems like the universe takes a little peak inside your brain and puts a little something together just for you. Halloween is my favorite night of the year, and anything associated with it I am a total mark for. When I heard that this little tri-fecta of pop-meta-goodness was happening I literally did a double take into the camera that I am convinced is looking at me at all times... click after the jump for more!

The Brave & The Bold: The Lost Issues Does The Supernatural Justice
The Brave and The Bold: The Lost Issues is an excellent idea for a blog that is brought to us by Ross. Ross uses MS Paint to take certain aspects of comic covers and come up with team ups for Batman ala the way they used to in DC Comics The Brave & The Bold. At first he only used DC characters from the particular era of the orginal run, but soon after he started popping Marvel characters as well as all other types of cool people from different mediums into the team ups. They are a great quality and look fantastic... and you can view all of his posts by clicking here. Since it is CCD's All Horror Week, I chose to highlght the supernatural type covers that Ross has presented throughout his run. I hope you enjoy them. Please check out Ross, tell em CCD sent you and make some suggestions in the comments section below that you would like to see... we will pass em on to him!!!

Everyone, Meet RAK... RAK, Meet The CCD Family!
Now that we got the introductions out of the way, lets tell you about one of the coolest discoveries that I made at the 2010 Wizard Big Apple Comic Con. I came across RAK's (Robert A. Kraus) stand about 5 minutes after hitting the showroom floor. Upon seeing his table, 2 things immediately jumped out at me. #1- Dude had hundreds of baseball card size artists renderings (The Superfreeks!!!) of just about every fictional character ever... everything from superheroes to movie characters, from children's icons to horror movie murders. They were all there. #2 - They were all $1.00... $1.00 F'n dollar!!! They are wonderful interpretations of characters we have seen so many times... see for yourself. I went with Alex from A Clockwork Orange:
RAK also had different size prints of his creations, and had some that featured whole groups of sketches from a same group, like a Star Wars set and a South Park set. Rak also had some great ceramic creatures (Rak Attack Monsters!!!) that he creates, and he gives you the option to buy them unpainted ($3 bucks) and hand painted ($20 bucks). They were beautiful and I love the way he gave you the option to do em up in your own styles by selling them unpainted. We had a short chat with RAK, and he was gracious enough to allow us to interview him for CCD. The audio is a bit low... take it easy, it was our first time!!! Check it all out here:
You see, even RAK has to deal with infernal Twilight fans busting chops!!! All in all, it was great to meet him and wonderful to purchase some of his great work. My biggest regret was not asking him to sketch a little something for me in my newly started father/son sketch book that I am putting together for my son... oh well, another time. I am sure I will see this talented man again. Please click here to head over to RAK's site and buy some of his cool shit.. and don't forget to tell 'em CCD sent you. Great to meet you Rak... you're the man!!!
How cool is that??? RAK also had buttons for sale for a buck featuring all these same characters... I couldn't resist, and bought my son Mikey a Silver Surfer & Green Lantern and myself an Ash from Evil Dead:

Intresting Shit From Around The Web
So here are a few things that I wanted to share with you guys last week, but never found the time to. Hope you enjoy!!!
First up, the boys over at Unreality Mag as well as a few hundred other sites published this handy guide to Kristen Stewart's reactions to all sorts of feelings... funny, they look somewhat similar, no??? This one goes out to Teressa F and all the rest of you K-Stew haters!!! (P.S.- TF, Can we get another rant please???)
Hope you guys enjoy!!!! Leave some comments, will ya...

Next up, did you ever wonder what masks Darth Vader might have passed on before he settled on "The Big Black Helmet of Death"??? There had to be a few choices, right??? At least he got The Emperor to help him along... his advice was always clutch... right???
Last up, we got a new video from The Killers former frontman Brandon Flowers. Now I am as much of a fan of The Killer's music as the next guy... but thats not exactly why I featured this video here. No, the reason the video is here is because it features the hot piece of ass that is Charlize Theron. Not only do you get the blonde bombshell (god she is hot!!!), but she is fighting FUCKING NINJAS for christ sake... NINJAS!!! I don't know about you guys, but thats good enough to make my blog...
Hope you guys enjoy!!!! Leave some comments, will ya...

Some Cool T-Shirts For The Summer Time...
It's been a while since we previewed some cool t-shirts here on CCD, so I figured I would hit you guys with a few of the good ones that I have seen recently. Links to all the sites that are offering the shirts are included, as well as price and size information. Hope you guys like them. Here we go!!!
First up, the boys from Splitreason wonder just what would have happened if Han Solo had not found Luke when he was lost on Hoth. They present "Home Sweet Taun Taun" which shows one of the possible results.
It's not much, but its home. This shirt is 18.95 and comes in sizes from Small-XXL. I believe shipping is included. These guys have tons of great shirts, so check out all the other stuff they have to offer as well.
Next up, we have a Threadless entry that was extremely clever. It's a Ghostbuster's version of hot chocolate, featuring everyone's favorite figment of the wandering imagination, The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Thank god Ray Stanz thought of this one... it just wouldn't work with a giant Jolly Rancher or chocolate covered banana, now would it???

Gotta love when Vampire Jack Bauer kicks some Cullen ass!!! The shirt is $19.95, and shipping is free on orders of 60 bucks or more. This one says "sold out" right now, but they are going to be in stock within a few days (so the dudes from the site said!!!) This video aired on Jimmy Kimmel's Twilight: Eclipse special that aired a few nights back. Our favorite goons from the Jersey Shore take some time out of their busy GTL schedule to re-enact some of the most memorable scenes of the Twilight saga... this is freakink hysterical!!! Pauly D as Jacob... hehehehe. Enjoy the video...

No Vampire Sex and Baby Birth??? Oh, What a Gip...
As we get closer to the release of the third Twilight film Eclipse, more and more details are coming out about the adaption of the fourth and final film, Breaking Dawn. They have decided to release the massive Breaking Dawn in two parts, that way they can include all of the important scenes. I have read the books and am looking forward to the Eclipse and Breaking Dawn films because the books were filled with tons of fighting and action. But one scene that is completely and utterly important to the story may not make it into Breakiing Dawn at all...
Bella and Edward decide to get married, and when they do... well lets just say they consumate that puppy the old fashion way. The only problem is, Bella is human and Edward is a vampire. He has a body that is like solid stone, and once he gets going in the bedroom... well, lets just say I hope Bella likes it rough. In the book she experiences many injuries and Edward is disgusted by how much damage he actually did to his new wife by boning her. But thats not the worst part... oh no!!! She gets pregers with a Vamp kid, and then is forced to give birth to the little monster while the baby tries to eat her from the inside out... this was a sick scene in the book. One of the best and most harrowing scenes Stephanie Meyers actually wrote in all four books. Yet it might no make it onto film.... call bullshit.

Rumors are swirling that the sex scene between Bella and Edward will be cleaned up and sanitized for the teen audience, and the childbirthing scence will suposedly take place off camera. Wait... what??? This is what it is all about, some of the greatest parts of the book... and you are just going to change them completely. This sucks, especially for people like me. I gave these books a shot, even though they were pre-teeny in nature. But by the third and fouth instalments we are getting treated to some full fledged horror type moments. It will not be 30 Days of Night, but it shoulkd start to get bloody and shit real soon. And now they are gonna just edit these scenes.... ughhhhh. Please producers of the Twilight series, you must show these two scenes for all of us people who hung in their with the frst few movies just to get to this point. I want my Bella/Edward sex scene & my vampire baby birthng sequence, and I want it now!!!!
Who doesn't want to see something like this little guy eat their way out of Kristin Stewarts emo vag??? Who doesn't want to see Edward beat the shit outta Bella while getting his nut off??? This is classic shit people. Lets hope they get these scenes right. What do you think... should they keep the scenes in or cut/edit them? Let me know in the comment section below...

I Like This... But Not For The Reasons You Think
Martyrs, a french horror/torture film by Pascal Laugier, is one of the most disturbing and fucked up movie I have ever seen... and thats saying a lot, since I seek out disturbing and fucked up movies out. I will not say anything about the movie other than that it is extremely graphic and a lot to handle both visually and mentally... see this movie. Like most great international movies, some studio here has bought the rights to remake it. The group heading up this project is lead by one of the producers of Twilight, and naturally he wants Kristen Stewart in the starring role. Now I know everybody is growing tired of K-Stew and the Twilight craze... but I am all for this. Here is why.
Personally, I think Kristen Stewart is kinda hot. In that awkward, alternate hot way. She is not Eva Mendes or Scarlett Johansson, but she got a certain cuteness and everygirl in her. But people are really getting tired of her woe-is-me attitude in which she seems to be pissed off all the time about the success of her Twilight films... and frankly, I am too. Be happy for yourself, you miserable bastard. You are a star!!!! Enjoy it... But I think she would be a great fit because lets just say the main character in Martyrs has a rough going of it. I will not spoil it for those of you who have not seen it yeat, but lets just say things are not all peachy keen for the star of that movie. So if she does get the role, then people who like her get to see her in a cool role... and people who hate her get to watch her get put through the fucking ringer. You have never seen the shit like Laugier put his lead actress through, so if she gets half of that... well lets just say you K-Stew haters will be all smiles (You sick fucks You!!!) Either way, I don't care who plays the role... just don't fuck up this classic movie. Thats a simple request, but a tall order for Hollywood, who often fucks these international imports beyond all recognition.

Now These Are My Kind Of Vampires...
I am a huge horror movie fan and have been my whole entire life. I have been enamored with maniac killers and werwolves, zombies and monsters, and especially vampires ever since I was a little boy. I love it. But lately with Twilight, True Blood, The Vampire Diares, etc. things just seemed to have spiraled out of control. Vampires are supposed to be dark and sexual creatures that seduce their victims and then eat them. Thats kinda missing from Twilight... although I hope one of those rogue vampires happens to get a hold of Kristen Stewart and rips her constantly depressed looking throat out (I know, its not gonna happen) But I figured I would turn to freind of CCD Gwendolyn Eve Hill to put the sexiness back into being a vampire. In this next photo spread, Gwendolyn was shot turning Linsey Russell into a creature of the night by photographer Michael Drew. Do you like what you see??? Check out Gwendolyn's Facebook Photo Albums here. If I gotta become a vampire, god I hope these are the chicks who turn me. You wont have to chain me up. I'll be there with bells on!!! Enjoy the pics.

DVD Releases For March 16, 2010
Ninja Assassin - ( Rainn, Naomie Harris)
I was really looking foward to this movie when it came out around Thanksgiving time, and it did not disappoint me one bit. The follow up to V for Vendetta for director James Mctiegue and Producers The Wachowski Brothers, the team picks up right where they left off and achieve new levels of action. Trained by a secret society of assassins to be the most lethal killer ever, Raizo (Korean pop star Rainn) is the most deadly murderer in the group. But after his friend falls victim to his own clans muredrous activities, he turns his back on the group who raised him and vows revenge. A Europol agent (Naomie Harris) finds herself hot on the trail of the assassin clan after she uncovers payoffs to them for killings, so she ends up being next on the list. Saved at the last second by Raizo, the unlikely duo work together to take down the clan once and for all. Plenty of great stunts and tons of violence, this is the kind of movie you pop in when you want to lose yourself for a few hours. Available on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Twilight: New Moon - ( Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning)
Ok, so lets skip all the teenage girl nonsense. Its easy to dimiss the entire Twilight franchise as teen cheese based on the 1st movie, but for those of you who ACTUALLY READ all 4 books you would now that this is not the case. New Moon is the beginning of when shit starts to hit the fan in Forks, and the teenage love story starts to take a back seat to violence and revenge bewteen Vampires and Werewolves alike. Lautner steals the show as new werewolf Jacob, desperately in love with Bella. But as we all know, she only has eyes for Edward the Vampire. The action picks up in this one, but it is still a bit dry and could be dismissed as corny rather easily. Just know that books 3 and 4 were very mature themed, with epic battles, teen pregnancy, violence and bloodshed taking the stage in those stories. I am eager to see how they pull off these elements in the films, so New Moon is a neccessary step on the path towards Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. Plus, if you have to watch a chick flick, why not watch one with bad ass CGI Wolves and hot ass Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene??? Available on DVD and Blu-Ray
Also Available On DVD and Blu-Ray: The Princess and The Frog, Armored, Did You Hear About The Morgans, Astro Boy, The 4th Kind, Breaking Bad Season 1 & 2

Brooklyn, We Get Hard... We Get Hard!!!!
Sorry Jay, but I had to change your boast about Brooklyn to fit what will be happening to men all over the country in the next few weeks... The Sports Illustrated 2010 Swimsuit Issue hit newstands on Tuesday Feb. 9th and it features the lovely Brooklyn Decker on the cover. Not a bad choice, the beautiful Mrs. Andy Roddick dons a teeny weeny yellow bikini on the cover of the annual celebration of women and bathing suits put out each year by the sports mag. The issue is often the topic of intense debates amongst the american male population and a good cover shot can make or break a model.
The magazine features tons of chicks in bathing suits... Duh!!! But it also has some really cool themed photo shoots. The first one is a Dancing With The Stars Cast shoot catching your favorite celebrity dancers and their partners in beach attire. Then there is a body painting spread which features a "Soccer Uniforms From Around The World Theme". Twilight's Ashley Greene also has a body painting layout. A few of the American Stars from the upcoming 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver raise the heat in an otherwise cold weather setting. All in all, a solid effort by the boys and girls over at Sports Illustrated. Thank you for what you do year after year. Mena across America are forever in your debt... Enjoy!!!
