What Happens When Voice Actors Dress Up Like The Characters They Voice? Magic Baby.... Pure Magic!!!

Voice Acting has become a huge way for actors to make money. What used to be a niche market and a side gig for celebs has quickly become a guaranteed money maker. And with the success of animated films due to Pixar and Dreamworks (they make cash money baby!) lots of celebs are getting bigger checks for these roles as well. So the A listers are making their way to these roles. The same can be said for TV. While back in the day many "FILM" actors would never take a TV role.... now it seems these "FILM" actors are dying to book a reoccurring series. So it gets even cooler when these actors and actresses decide to make public appearances as these characters. Just a little cherry on top for all the fans who love them in these roles. Here Is Just Another Reason To Love Tracy Morgan

I absolutely adore my man, Tracy Morgan... the dude is a wacky motherfucker who is always good for a sound bite. With that being said, I have to wonder just what the fuck TNT and hosts Kenny Walker & Charles Barkley thought he was going to say when they asked him his feelings on Sarah Palin's sex appeal. Here is his response:

Yup... that happened on TV... live.... and it was awesome!!! Did you see these guys immediately begin to understand just how bad of a question that was as soon as Tracy took a step back and grinned.... wonderful, just wonderful. I love Tracy... stay just the way you are!!!

P.S.- Check out this weak ass apology from TNT:

TNT has now released a statement saying, “It's unfortunate Mr. Morgan showed a lack of judgment on our air with his inappropriate comments. We apologize for any embarrassment or offense it may have caused.”

That's just stupid... they should criticize Barkley & Smith for talking like dicks on the air... you can't answer a question if it's not asked, no?

Betty White to Host Tonight's SNL's Mothers Day Special

Tonight, 5/8/2010, Betty White will be the host of Saturday Night Live. The musical guest will be Jay-Z, and all the former female cast members of the last decade or so are set to make guest appearences (think Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, etc.) in an star-packed episode dedicated to Mothers Day. But that is not what makes this great. This is all a result of an online push to get White named as host of the long running show. A Facebook page was started, putting forth the crazy idea to have the 86 year old actress as a host, and it snowballed. After the popularity of her Snickers commercial during this years Super Bowl, people got behind the idea of everybodies favorite Golden Girl hosting... even when she had second thoughts about it. Lorne Michaels saw how many people wanted to see this happen, so he made the executive decisions that lead to tonights show. Tune in, because I am sure this episode is going to be one of the classics... Show starts at 11:30... enjoy!!!

SNL Throwback Of The Week #12, 5/1/2010

I am a huge Saturday Night Live fan. One of my earliest memories was of my parents watching SNL every Saturday while we were tucked in our bedrooms, and sometimes being allowed to watch for a bit. The show has gone through its ups and downs over its 35 year run, but the fact that it is still on the air after 35 years is a testament to the staying power of the show. Lorne Michaels is a genius at finding and developing young, comedic talent. SNL has produced a bevy of stars over the years, from Eddie Murphy to Tina Fey. The show is doing well again thanks to Ms. Fey and the rest of the team, but I love watching clips from the old shows. Every Saturday I will give you guys one of my favorites. This weeks clip features Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as The Bush Twins, Goerge W's twin daughters. They are fucking hysterical portraying the party hearty twins, and I love them on the screen together. I look forward to seeing them in future projects, but it is sad to know that their time on the show is over. Enjoy the clip... Live from my livingroom, It's Saturday Night!!!
