It's his first time on the CCD podcast, so make sure you welcome him with open arms! Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Hannibal, Penny Dreadful, and a bunch of other shows make the discussion table this episode. The gang also discusses Khal Drogo's casting as Aquaman in the Superfriends... er, I mean Batman V Superman movie... Robert Englund getting back into his Freddy make up one more time at a convention to raise money to save a drive in movie theater, and even a little bit of nerdy horror related vacation tales courtesy of Jedi Rob & his awesome fiance Alicia! It Never Gets Old... Especially When It Comes From The Cast Of Mad Men

The other day my boy Mike Monge posted a link on his Facebook page to the nudie pics of Kate Middleton online. I, being the self respecting pervert that I am, promptly clicked the link and was quite eager to see the Royal Boobs. For the first time in quite some time, I got Rick Rolled. It's been a while, but it still put a smile on my face. Well played Mr. Monge... well played. So then I came across this excellent compilation video made up of quotes from the cast of Mad Men arranged to perform the Rick Astley hit, and I knew that I just had to post it. So here it goes... long live the Rick Roll!!!!!

OHC of the Day: Caity Lotz

Caity Lotz is the prototypical OHC. For one, she is certainly obscure. Obscure means that you probably don't know her, but she is vaguely familiar to you because you have probably seen her somewhere before. She has appeared on mainstream shows such as Mad Men & Law and Order, as well as genre fare such as MTV's Death Valley. And she is definitely a Hot Chick. A super f'n hot chick. I love that she has freckles and that she doesn't always use makeup to cover them up. Plus she seems to be very comfortable in a wife beater and panties, sans a bra... which is always a plus!!!! She is such a prototypical California Girl in every sense of the word, with the legs that are never ending and the hair as blond as gold. When Jeff Bond sent me this suggestion, her name was familiar to me because I have been hearing some good things from her latest horror film called The Pact that will co-star Casper Van Dien. The film is getting meh reviews, but everyone is loving Caity's performance... and why wouldn't they? Lotz also has a ensemble film called Live At The Foxes Den (co starring Elliot Gould, Jackson Rathbone, and Pooch Hall) & a mysterious project called Planet B Boy with Lost's Josh Holloway (this one sounds interesting). Given her start as a back up dancer for Lady Gaga, I am sure she will hold her own alongside Sawyer himself. Enjoy the photos after the jump....

Proof That There Is A God: Alexis Bledel Edition

Alexis Bledel has grown up a lot since Gilmore Girls, as fans of Mad Men can certainly attest to. she shared some of the sexiest scenes on this past season of the AMC hit, and she did it despite having to find a way to make scummy Pete an object of sexual affection. That is a true miracle in itself. Her gorgeous blue eyes have always been a highlight for me, and I think she is a truly gorgeous young women. Check the photos after the jump. Damn you Pete... Alison Brie & Alexis Bledel????

Watch The Ladies Of Mad Men Get Their Supremes On!!!

Fuck a Zoobie, Zoobie, Zoo.... watch the ladies of Mad Men get supercut into a awesome rendition of The Supreme's claasic "You Keep Me Hangin' On". Not that I minded Mrs. Draper's sexy french song & dance in the season premiere, but this video is much funnier and features the Big Red Boob Machine that is Christina Hendricks. Gosh I love her. And Alison Brie. And January Jones. But Peggy... not so much!!! Enjoy the video after the jump...

What Does This New Poster Say About The Upcoming Season Of Mad Men?

I'm not real sure, but I know just how smart the writers can be on this show... and given that the show is about the advertising industry, I do not think that there is absolutely nothing connected to this naked mannequin. What do you guys think? Check out the full poster after the jump and leave some comments as to what you think it all means...

I Can't Wait...

Mad Men Season 5 is right around the corner, coming to your TV on March 25th. This is very late for the AMC hit show, which usually airs around the summertime. Considering that this is the first season I will be watching in real time (I caught up on seasons 1-4 via Netflix Instant), I am starting to get antsy. In order to sedate the public's needs of everything Draper & Co, AMC has released little teaser clips for all the key returning characters of the show. Even though I can't wait to see all of them together, these 30 second teasers are certainly getting the juices flowing. Especially the ice queen January Jones & her fiery redheaded counterpart Christina Hendricks... my god I miss Betty & Joan!!! Check after the jump for the individual clips, and tune in for the season 5 premiere on March 25th...

Sterling Cooper Vader Price by Dann Matthews

In anticipation for the upcoming return of Mad Men, digital artist Dann Matthews created a cool montage of the opening credits featuring a certain Sith Lord who may be joining the firm as a new partner. I hear he is a tough cookie in the board room and the ladies love his smooth, black helmet. If I was him, I would be chasing after Red... all them boobies that she got would give him plenty of "objects" to practice his Force techniques on. Click after the jump for the full video...

OHC of the Day: January Jones

Whoa... hold on a second. Before I get hit with all types of backlash for featuring January Jones in the OBSCURE HOT CHICK category, at least let me explain my thought process. Sure, Ms. Jones is stunning and has been on the hit show 'Mad Men' for the past four years now. Here is the thing though... I don't watch 'Mad Men' and since that is pretty much all this gorgeous specimen has done besides a bazillion magazine spreads (... and I know I am not the only one who doesn't watch the show), than doesn't that qualify her? 'Mad Men' is the most successful show that I know about that so many people say they want to watch but don't. Maybe it's because its a summer show, maybe because it's on AMC. I'm not sure... but now Season 5 has been delayed. That means more time for January to explore more film projects. In the past off season she has been quite busy and now she has a full slate of movie releases ready for this year. First up on June 3rd, she takes on the role as the sexy Emma Frost in 'X-Men: First Class'... and given the penchant that Frost has for wearing sexy clothing, I am quite excited. Then she will star alongside Liam Nielsen & Diane Kruger in 'Unknown', which is being billed as another 'Taken' type movie for Nielsen (and that one was super successful). Finally sometime in 2011, she has a starring role alongside Nic Cage & Guy Pearce in 'The Hungry Rabbit Jumps'.  That one sounds really crazy. These film projects are what will put January Jones over the top and make that beautiful face much more recognizable.  Eventually, 'Mad Men' will be back for season 5... 'til then try to let these pics tide you over!

Like! Like? Volume #2

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The original 'Legend of Zelda' game's Like Likes were my favorite  villains that I loved to hate!
They were these little evil-doers which resembled a delicious
stack of buttery pancakes and whose sole mission were to suck you dry of a hard earned weapon you had just paid mucho rupees for. That is why I've decided to name a new feature article I've been preparing for 'Cultural Compulsive Disorder' after them. Like the fortunate bottom-feeder that I am, I will be scouring the blogosphere for loosely related images, video clips, and articles that I found interesting, exciting, or maddening on other blogsites. Things that someone else has, no doubt, painstakingly worked on for weeks, even months, yet I will show no remorse borrowing from them and regurgitating on C-C-D, for you guys to appreciate as well, with all due credit given to it's origins, of course. Things that they liked...and I like...so I'd like to see if you like. So without further ado, I give you "Like!-Like?"

AMC's 'MAD MEN' This is the best show I wasn't watching. Now I am. Why aren't you? Here Artist Dyna Moe has been creating 50's Mad Men inspired art based on each episode. ....Like! Like?

Ke$ha
I'm following Ke$ha lately. Sure she looks like the dirty unknown Olsen triplet. But there's something about her. Here's her very trendy spread for an upcoming 'Interview Magazine' article. ....Like! Like?

'Sillof' is a neat little site that showcases custom figures that you could swear were made by the best toy company around. They reimagine Superheroes and Star Wars characters as if they were circa 1942
Earth...or in this case Feudal Japan. I give you 'Samauri Wars' ....Like! Like?

The Philadelphia Zoo has added a Endagered Species LEGO exhibit. Follow the link for a slideshow of all the LEGO greatness.

Speaking of Star Wars, 'STAR WARS Uncut'' is a brilliant piece of film
featuring 15 second spurts of footage done by various film makers and
spliced together to form one full length rendition of STAR WARS.
Here's a portion of it.
....Like! Like?

That's it, quick and painless and you still even have your shield. Like! Like?

DVD Release Day - March 22, 2010

The Blind Side - (Sandra Bullock, Tim McGraw, Quinton Aaron)

Trust me guys... Oscar got this one right. Sandra Bullock sparkles as the tough as nails rich lady with a heart the size of planet Earth. She feels bad for a large homeless boy named Big Mike that goes to here childrens school. So she does what any logical upper class white mother would do... she invites the boy to come live in the house with her husband and their two teenage kids!!! She takes a chance on Mike, and he learns what it is like to have a family that cares for him. This would suck the big one if it was  a typically made up story, but thats the best part: THIS IS A TRUE STORY!!! Michael Orr is currently playing in the NFL for the Baltimore Ravens, and most likely this is because of the kindness that was afforded to him way back when. This one is a tear jerker, and Bullock gives the performance of her long, outstanding career. You will love this one, trust us. When they talk about feel good movies, this is what they have in mind.

The Fantastic Mr. Fox - (George Clooney, Meryll Streep, Jason Schwartzman)

Wes Anderson is a wonderful director. This is not open for debate, this is a fact. I love when actors and directors take chances after they achieve a certain level of greatness. Tom Cruise has been sucking it up lately as an actor, but when he took a chance a poking some fun at himself and stole the show as the dancing movie mogul in Tropic Thunder. Thats what I mean by taking a chance... and it paid off. Anderson is known for his quirky movies and collaborating with Luke and Owen Wilson and Bill Murray repeatedly. He took a shot and adapted this stop motion version of the Roald Dahl classic novel. And boy did he nail it. It helps when you get George Clooney and Meryll Streep involved, because they are somewhat known to be pretty decent actors... WTF!!! This cast is incredible, from Clooney and Streep, to frequent Anderson collaborators Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman. This also features so many cameos they can not ven be named. This movie was nominated for the Best Animated Feature Film award at this years Academy Awards, and it could have easily been one of the best picture nominees... no bullshit. If it wasn't for the mega hit UP, Fox would have won the category easily. Nothing wrong with coming in second to UP (great flick). Good for both adults and kids, this one won't disappoint.

Also Released This Week: Toy Story/Toy Story 2 Blu Ray Combo Pack, Mad Men Season 3, Seraphine, AfterDark HorrorFest Vol 4 (8 movies), Krod Mandoon and The Flaming Sword of Fire, The Men That Stare At Goats, The Prisoner (AMC Miniseries), Yojimbo and Sanjuro Blu Ray Combo Pack
