Marion Cotillard Comes Clean... Or Does She?

Marion Cotillard was faced with a tough assignment when doing the press for The Dark Knight Rises. She played Talia Al Ghul, the real villain in the movie. But she was given the cover role of Miranda Tate, Wayne Enterprise board member to protect the secrecy of the role. But that meant that she had to lie to any press member who asked her about her character or the movie itself. MTV Splash Page host Josh Horowitz sat down with her recently and pulled out his Ipad to show her how she bold face lied to him, and the results are kind of hilarious. Probably not what Horowitz was expecting... and good to see that Cotillard could be a good sport about the whole thing. Cool video after the jump...

Kermit & Walter Pop Shit About Jason Segel...

Earlier this week Jason Segel made some comments where he distanced himself from particpating in another Muppet movie so quickly. He cited his love for the Muppets but the need to get involved in other things. Usually something like this would just garner an "aw man" type response from others involved in the film. But not the Muppets... if you didn't already know, they are kind of outspoken. Kermit & Walter were recently interviewed by MTV, and they lobbed jokes about Segel's height and how he discovered Walter. It was all in good fun, but Kermit's deadpan is just amazing. Remember That Time That Tommy Lombardozzi Designed Character Cut Outs For The Fantastic Four Movie Premiere?

I have a friend that works as a producer at MTV. Back in the Spring of 2005, when I was pretty new at doing freelance illustration, he had asked me if I wanted to do drawings of the Fantastic Four that would adorn the set of their upcoming Fantastic Four movie premiere special. Of course I said yes!


The idea was that my drawings would be blown up, life-sized, and then made into big placards that would accompany the actors playing the specific parts. I was excited because I was going to be able to go to the filming of the show and meet "The Commish" himself, Michael Chiklis! (I was also a fan of his because he played Belushi in the not-very-good adaptation of Bob Woodward's Belushi biography, 'Wired'. I didn't like the movie, but I thought Chiklis did a great job.) Plus, I'd get to meet that sweet piece, Jessica Alba. MING!

Wu Tang Wednesday: The Challenges Of Interviewing Old Dirty Bastard

This is an amazing behind the scenes clip of Old Dirty Bastard being interviewed by MTV's John Norris... better yet, this shows the challenges that a guy like Norris must have faced trying to compile two minutes of usable material while trying to interview a maniac like ODB. "I remember the nigga that was riding the bike in the sky..." "Keep it good kids... keep it good, cause you know I'm gonna love you forever!" Wow... unreal. This man was truly a complete nutjob. He was a musical genius, and I appreciate his work even more when you realize he did all of that despite of his craziness. I miss ODB. He was taken far to soon. Enjoy this interview and remember the good times. Ason Jones, you my man for life!!!!

My Proof That Teen Mom On MTV Is A Bad Idea...

     I hate this fucking TV show that MTV is making millions on called 'Teen Mom'. For those of you who do not know what 'Teen Mom' is, MTV basically selects 5 girls who are teens and have gotten pregnant. They then follow them with cameras to chronicle how hard their lives are before and after they give birth. MTV says they are doing this to "enlighten" teens on the dangers of teen pregnancy... but that's all a bunch of horse shit. They are doing it to exploit a fucked up situation... nothing more, nothing less. The show has become a ratings smash. Now that the show has gained popularity, you've got a shit-ton of teen girls around the country having sex & getting pregnant hoping that MTV will pick them for the next cast. Great work toolbags...

     Not to mention the fact that the ones who are picked are terrible human beings and it's being showcased to the whole world. That fat animal Amber beat her boyfriend up on camera and it came out that MTV kept filming and actually encouraged the violence. The police in her state arrested her and subpoenaed the tapes from MTV. The network denied that they were promoting anything negative on their show... just trying to help showcase a problem facing America's youth. Now its been a year or two since the season first started and these chicks are starting to act like they are famous, and splurging their money they earned from the exploitation of the show on things like breast implants.

Case in point: Here is Farah Abraham, lounging on a beach (without her baby) in a bikini. She is showing off her newly inserted fake breasts and also has a wrap on her hand that looks a lot like what you get when you have a fresh tattoo. So that's what the money she earned is going to... interesting. Not to mention that the dude who fathered her child died before the kid was born and she has been fist fighting with her mom since the show started... but she really needed those implants to be a mom in Iowa. See for yourself.

You know who I feel bad for... its the poor kids. Because now not only are they are stuck with these trashbag moms forever, but MTV has given them a little bit of money and some kind of aspirations of super stardom. Now this little hooker will get implants and try to record a single, or film some low budget web series... or maybe take Vivid video up on their offer to do a porn or Playboy to shoot a spread....tastefully done, of course. Maybe its cause I used to be a teacher, but I hate the exploitation of teens who don't know better and that have already made bad choices... they don't need a TV show to teach kids that's its bad to have unprotected sex. This does the exact opposite. This sends the message that if you get knocked up and MTV picks you, you will get dough and titties, an 15 seconds of fleeting fame. Which teenage kid you know wouldn't take that? It's a god damn shame. Show these kids a program of kids their age in an Aids ward dying, and THAT will stop unprotected sex! THAT will scare the shit out of them. What does 'Teen Mom' do??? It breeds more ignorance like this hooker in the picture above... 

OHC of the Day: Rachel Thevenard

Unless you live somewhere in the continental United States that does not get basic cable nor advertising of any kind, you have probably heard that MTV has a new show called Skins that will begin on January 17th. Well, to be honest, its not really a new show... more like just another successful British TV show that we will shamelessly jack and pass off as original programming. Be as it may, at least Skins has some hot looking chicks. Thats where Rachel comes in. Ms Thevenard will be playing Michelle Richardson, the popular girl who dates the bad boy in this fictional high school setting. She is also the one on the show I think is the cutest (although Camille Crescencia-Mills, who plays Daisy is also hot... but 17!!!) These kids are pretty fucking wild (at least in all the promos they are), and this gorgeous redhead is no exception. Just take a look at some of these pics... ming!!!Unfortunately there is not much more information on Rachel out there since MTV decided to use the same approach as the British version of the show an cast unknown actors in the roles of the students. This is the first major performance for the Canadian beauty, and MTV is really betting some big wood on this show... so, don't be suprised when Rachel is popping up all over the place. Just remember where you saw her featured first. OHC today, MTV star tomorrow. You gotta start somewhere, right.

CCD Wants To Introduce You To The Next Great Rapper...

... so please meet Wiz Khalifa. This is the guy who edged out Nikki Minaj & J. Cole for this years MTV newcomer of the year award. Do yourself a favor and download his awesome mixtapes Burn After Rolling and Kush & Orange Juice... you will not be disappointed. Not to mention he named his mixtape after a Coen Brothers flick... that scores major points in my book! Here are some of my favorites from the tattooed dynamo that hails from Pittsburg, PA. Be on the lookout for his debut album coming in 2011. This guy has tons of material on Youtube, so make it happen.

On a side note, Khalifa has a current single in heavy rotation entitled "Black & Yellow" which shows some love to his hometown Pittsburg Steelers. Given the fact that I am a NY Giants fan and they just choked away their season & missed the playoffs, I will be forced to root for the Steelers for no other reason than to ensure that the NY Jets do not win a title... so we'll start with Wiz's dedication to his home team:

This Is The Kind Of Non-Sensical Video I Would Shoot If I Was A Rock Star

I just watched the MTV premiere of My Chemical Romance's new video "Na Na Na"... and I am speechless for a few reasons. #1 - I had no idea MTV still showed videos for songs. I mean, its called Music Television... why the fuck would they actually show music videos??? That's just crazy. #2 - While I am not a huge fan of their work, the dudes from MCR usually come correct with their videos. This was no exception. Not a huge fan of the song, but the video was kinda crazy. Which brings me to #3 - If I was a rock star, I would make ridiculously crazy videos like this one, every time out the box. I know some people will be like "This shit doesn't make any sense..." to which my answer would be "Yup... it don't make sense... now fuck off while I bang this hot model while I wear this Sonic the Hedgehog helmet I just rocked in my crazy ass video... what!!!!". Anyway, check this Mad Max-ish/stylized/post apocalyptic video out and remember: It's just Rock n Roll... its not supposed to make sense!!!!

Vanity Fair Gets This One Right...

In the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair the magazine decided to portray the three ringleaders of the Jackass crew as the comedic geniuses The Three Stooges. Johnny Knoxville is Moe, Bam Magera is Larry, and Steve-O is a slimmed down version of Curly in this photo. I can not wait to see these maniacs make their return to the big screen in a few months with Jackass 3-D... now thats some 3-D I want to see. How many items do you think will get rammed up Steve-O's ass in 3 dimensional glory??? We will find out soon....  

M. Night... Love 'Em Or Hate 'Em???

Everybody is poo-pooing all over M. Night Shyamalan lately. His last few films have not captured the audiences the way his first few films had (I think The Happening is the worst movie ever... EVER!!!). I have yet to see The Last Airbender, but its getting smashed by critics (like 12% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes), and believe it or not, some of our C-C-D friends that watcht he cartoon show saw it and thinks it was wonderful! Anyway, our man M is kind of embracing the hate... kinda. First, check out this fake movie he made for MTV called "Escalation", which is supposed to make fun of the new film he wrote (but did not direct) Devil (it takes place in an elevator. Get it, elevator-escalator... meh)

So he seems to be having some fun with the bad reactions he has been getting. The new movie, Devil, featured his name prominetly in the original print ads and TV spots:

Notice the "From the mind of M. Night Shyamalan" along the top of the poster? Seems like the studio wanted to push our boy M's involvement in this sucker. But the subway posters have just hit NYC, and with the film about to be released, they changed the poster a bit:

Same graphics on the poster, no credit to M Dog anymore.... Hmmmmmm, thats interesting, no??? Apparently M might be ok with the negative attitude the public has torwards him, but I do not think the studio finds it so funny. They have chosen to excise M -Diggity's name from the poster. Will people forget he was involved in this movie and maybe give it a good review? We will find out in the next few weeks once the film comes out in September. Till then, we say fuck the M-man haters.... 6th Sense and Unbreakable buys him a pass here at CCD anyday!!!

Now Thats What I Call A Comeback Video...

The moment I heard that Eminem was teaming up with Superstar Du Jour Rhianna for one of the lead singles of his comeback album, I started seeing the great video possibilities. Then "Love The Way you Lie" came out, and since the lyrics provide you with an even more intense imagery, I really couldn't wait for the video. This past weekend the video hit the street, and since MTV hasn't shown a music video in 7 1/2  years and nobody I know can bare to watch 106 & Park, I doubt anybody has seen it. So I give it to you. Any video that features a flame haired Rhianna, raw lyrics from Em, Meagan Fox in as little clothing as possible, and Dominic "Charlie from Lost, One of the Hobbits" Monaghan as her domestic violence commiting lover... well, I'm in!!! Here you go guys. Lets get some comments going on the bottom, ok... I want to hear what you think!
