Patton Oswalt is Indy film icon. The dude exudes indy cred, and that is probably why he was tapped to host the Independent Spirit Awards. He is also quite hysterical, so in order to promote the upcoming award show he created a short viral video poking fun at the big budget Hollywood blockbusters that the Indy Spirit Awards try to be the total opposite of. The Indi-izer is an Ipad app that allows any huge movie to be transformed into a low budget indy-fest, complete with low cost sets and too much talking.
