OHC of the Day: Sarah Wayne Callies

Sarah Wayne Callies was a star on the show Prison Break from 2005-2009. She played DR. Sara Tancretti, the main character Michael Scholfield's girlfirend and accomplice. I have been watching the show on Netflix Instant Streaming over the last few weeks, and she has given one of the best performances out of a very good cast of actors on that wonderful show (You would never think it, but that show is bad ass!!!)

Anyways, I was searchin the 'net because I was curious over the fact that I have not seen her in much else besides Prison Break. It's not like she is tough on the eyes, nor a bad actress... so whats up??? Well, I got my answer. She has two major TV roles coming up this season. First up, she has a starring role on Fox's hit House M.D., playing a doctor yet again. But secondly, she is playing one of the main characters on AMC's The Walking Dead, the TV/Comic adaption being made by director Frank Darabont (Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile). The show is sure to be a hit given AMC's recent track record (Breaking Bad, Mad Men). She also has a couple of movie roles coming down the pipe. If ou don't know Sarah Wayne Callies... you need to get familiar. She is about to be kinda popular...

  1. She is adorable. I am really looking forward to 'The Living Dead' series since I have read most all of the great comic books it is based on. Thanks for the tip.

  2. Yeah, that show looks like they lined it all up well. Darabont does that kind of creepy material well and his visuals are awesome. The Comics were excellent and have are great source material. AMC has a great track record... And the cast looks great. I was really blown away by this girl in Prison Break. Great show, and she stole a lot of scenes. Looking forward to it as well.
