“Rowdy” Roddy Piper was a bad man. You didn’t have to watch him long to learn that; he’d tell you straight to your face. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, Greg Valentine, Hulk Hogan, Mr. T, it didn’t matter to the Hot Rod who you were, how good you thought you were, what you’d done in the ring, on TV, whatever. If you crossed his path, if you fell into Piper’s Pit, he would tear you a new one. Or he’d clunk you with a coconut; that worked, too.

Mondo Takes On Some Horror Classics For Texas Frightmare Weekend

Mondo recruits the best artists to create the coolest movie posters in the game. That is not debatable. I usually don't even bother posting Mondo posters when they are released. I do not post them not because they suck, but more along the lines that they are usually covered by EVERY BLOG ON THE PLANET since they are so awesome. But when the company focuses its energy on an event like Texas Frightmare Weekend and some  of the horror genres (my fave!) classic films.... well, these are certainly getting posted!!! Take A First Look At The Characters In Rob Zombies 'Lords of Salem'

I am a big fan of Rob Zombies work thus far as a film maker. While I agree that Halloween 2 was a bit of a turd, there is no denying that House of 1,000 Corpses & The Devil's Rejects are two of the greatest horror movies to come out of the last 15 years. I also really liked his re-imagining of Halloween. But right now he is working on a witchcraft based movie entitled 'Lords of Salem' and I couldn't be more intrigued. He's come here to fight childhood obesity an chew bubble gum. And he's all out of bubble gum.



I could have done with even more crazy violence on children though. I mean if you're gonna go for it, go for it! It's worth watching just to watch Roddy attempt to run in that last part.

I still think Piper is totally entertaining and charismatic. What I wouldn't give to see a buddy cop movie with him and Gary Busey.
