Empire Magazine (Australia) x Joshua Budich Pays Homage To The Best Auteurs Of Our World...

Joshua Budich is a very talented artist and certainly one I assume would be up to the task of creating a epic cover for a magazine. But when it comes to tackling the amount of talent that is present in the "Filmmaker" issue of Australia's Empire Magazine, it is definitely a challenge for any artist to get it just right. Budich nails it, not only featuring 7 top filmmakers on the cover (Copolla, Spielberg, Weedon, del Torro, Fincher, Lynch and Cameron) but also including interesting tidbits of art from past works of the auteurs. But Budich based his art choices on what these directors ACTUALLY contributed to this issue, so there are Easter Egg hints as to what is discussed right there on the cover! The final result is nothing short of amazing, pretty much as good as a Mondo poster in its entirety. The issue is packed full of contributions from everyone mentioned above, as well as even more... I HAVE to get my hands on a copy of this magazine! You can enjoy the beautiful cover in its full glory after the jump...

Emma Watson Is All Grows Up On The Cover Of GQ UK....

I have loved Emma Watson ever since I first saw her in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone way back in 2001. But back then I loved her because she was an adorable fresh faced young actress playing my favorite character from the book. She was like 11, super cute, and perfectly caste as the super nerd Hermoine. But now here we are 12 years later, she is 22, and boy has she grown up!!! Now a sexy young starlet in the making, Watson is following up last years sleeper hit The Perks of Being A Wallflower with Sofia Copola's The Bling Ring, and she is looking very sexy doing it. Here she is on the cover of British GQ, dressed as her character from the movie. I am totally intrigued. I love the Julia Robert's style Pretty Woman hooker dress, and I am left to wonder if that star trail tattoo is real or fake for the movie. There are only two pics from this article (damn you GQ... Damn you!), and I have included them after the jump. Good to see things come full circle for the lovely Watson. Can't wait to see how her career goes from here...

The 7 Complex Mag Covers of Ri Ri...

I don't really know what to make out of Rihanna. She is a bonafide superstar recording artist, makes pretty great pop songs, has a pretty sexy little body on herself and hates to wear clothing combinations that cover more than 20% of her body at a time. She is also on again, off again boyfriend/girlfriend with Chris Brown, who pummeled her into a bloody mess a few years ago and who she went through a very public break up withj. And apparently... well, apparently she doesn't give a flying fuck about what everybody thinks of her life choices. She tweets naked pics of herself, gets tats on top of tats, and sleeps with whoever she likes. Ri Ri just don't care. And that is what makes reading her interview in the Febraury/March issue of Complex magazine. You can get the full story here, and see all seven of the covers that they shot for the mag after the jump. There may be seven covers, but they all have a few common themes: various states of undress, tats showing on all sorts of body parts, and Ri Ri bringing the sexy. Enjoy all the covers after the jump...
