The Comic Twart Team Takes On Usagi Yojimbo

I have always been a huge fan of Stan Sakai's rabbit samurai Usagi Yojimbo. I mean, how can you not be. The comics are always well written and well drawn, and the character itself is the picture of a true hero if there ever was one. I also always loved it when he was featured in cahoots with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Those were some wonderful adventures. Tom Fowler (one of CCD's favorite artists) and the rest of his Comic Twart brethren have all taken there artistic chances with Usagi, and frankly I think these are absolutely wonderful. The Comic Twart Team Takes On Damian Wayne (aka The New Robin)

I have been fascinated with the character of Damian Wayne over the past couple of years. It's not everyday that one of the biggest superheroes in the world finds out he has a son... and Grant Morrison has been dealing out some great stories involving the pint size progeny. His dad may be The Bat, but his grandpa is still Ras Ah Ghul... so he got a bit of a mean streak... lol. The gang of talented artists over at Comic Twart all submitted their versions of the new Boy Wonder, so click after the jump to see them....

Dark Knight Detective by Declan Shalvey

I love this proposed comic idea by artist Declan Shalvey. He enjoys the hard boiled crime side of the Batman mythos, as do I. I would love to see this book, and Declan's cover would be perfect. Weapon X-A-Lot by Mike Hawthorne

Very cool mashup of Weapon X (Wolverine for all you non geeks... if you didn't know that, you aren't allowed to read this site anymore) and The Care Bears. Mr. Mike Hawthorne always makes some great stuff when he contributes to Comic Twart. Wish there were more Care Bears like this maniac... maybe I wouldn't have minded my sister Oona watching the cartoon so much. Keep up the great work gang.
