Super Power Beatdown: Punisher vs Red Hood Take To The Streets!!!!

Super Power Beatdown is becoming a Youtube staple for comic nerds like me, because it gives you an opportunity to see some of your favorite characters from the comics pages face off one on one. Bat In The Sun productions has come a long way from their (amazingly good) Batman fan films. The action of the clips are great, and just seeing two characters you grew up loving battle it out with their specific abilities at the center. There have been a ton of epic ones (Scorpion vs The White Ranger is one) in the series thus far, but the most recent entry is one for the ages. Who would win in a battle of street vigilantes? Red Hood is one of Batman's greatest challenges as an adversary especially because of his bloodlust and quest for revenge driving his mission. And the Punisher... well, he is the Punisher. He Punishes. Well. So if the two met in a dark alley (LOL, this is where they actually DO meet in the video) who would come out on top? I thought the action in this one was well executed, and I really like all the hand gun play. With entries like this, Super Power Beatdown certainly has a bright future ahead. Super Powered Beat Down - Battle Of The Batmobiles

We have been following the gang over at Bat In The Sun productions for a long time now.. way back when they were making high quality Bat family fan films (check here and here if you don't believe me!). They have moved on to bigger and better things, most notably the Super Power Beat Down web series that they post over on their Youtube Page. Now in these mythical match ups they often choose 2 individuals from comics/sci fi and have them face off in a one on one battle to find out who would win a battle... think Wolverine vs Predator. But this particular episode stands out because instead of featuring individuals battling it out, they choose to focus on one of the baddest sets of wheels of all time: The Batmobile! Everybody has their own particular fave, but which inclination of the famous car that Batman drives would outperform the other? That is a question answered in the video after the jump... and make sure you watch the video all the way to the end for a little something special from host Marisha Ray!

Seeds Of Arkham Is An Amazing Batman Fan Film.... Watch It Here Now!!!

Back in July of 2010 I told all of you faithful CCDers about a very cool Batman fan film entitled 'City of Scars' that was absolutely fucking amazing (click here to see that post). It was just so well done that it was tough to ignore and well worth the 30 minutes needed to watch it. Shit, I would go so far as to say that it is better than some of the real Batman movies that have been released over the years (yeah, I'm looking at you Clooney!!!). A few months back my boy Lockheed Lee sent me a link to the sequel fan film entitled Seeds of Arkham from the team over at Bat In The Sun productions, and it just slipped through the cracks & I never re-posted it. Well, I am about to correct that wrong right now.... after the jump you can find the full version of Seeds of Arkham (a much more manageable 9 minutes long). hopefully these guys get into some real Bat filmmaking in the future, cause I really love their take on the gang from Gotham. Why You Should Watch Batman: City of Scars

The minute I read about the quality of this 30 minute fan made film from the father and son team of Bat In The Sun that cost $27,000 to make, I wanted to post it. But I decided that I wanted to watch it first, and this was 30 minutes long... not your typical 5 minute clip. Now, I thought it would be good considering how much praise its garnering around the net, but geeks like me tend to over exagerate a bit when something cool comes across their face. Could it really be that good??? The answer is yes... yes it is!!!

The film jumps in right after the action of The Dark Knight, and stars Batman tracking his nemesis The Joker after an escape from Arkham... The Joker is cool, and Batman looks and sounds great. But the real cool thing is the supporting characters that are featured, such as Harley Quinn, Scarface, and Mr. Zsasz. The fight scenes were cool, and all in all I do not feel that I wasted 30 minutes on this. I can not wait to see what they do with the sequel to The Dark Knight, but this will definetly hold me over for the time being. Enjoy the film and please tell me what ya think in the comments below!!!
