Why? Good Lord, Why?

A Christmas Story is one of the most beloved Christmas movies of all time... wait, scratch that. it's one of the most beloved MOVIES of all time. Period. I don't know anybody who doesn't like the film, and I know that it is on constant repeat at my family's house during the Christmas Eve marathon on TBS every year. The adventures of Ralphie & his quest to get the Red Rider BB gun he so desires is the stuff made of legends. And now, 30 years after the fact, Warner brothers is making the ultimate cash grab by creating a sequel to the film. A sequel. A FUCKING SEQUEL!!!! You got to be kidding me. Get ready for A Christmas Story 2: The Official Sequel. What the fuck for? It's not like anybody is actually clamoring for this film... the idea went 30 years without being thought about after all. Wait, that is not entirely true. There was already a sequel to A Christmas Story, entitled My Summer Story, that was made in 1994. It starred Charles Grodin & Kieran Caulkin, and NOBODY EVER FUCKING SAW IT OR ACKNOWLEDGES IT AT ALL!!!! So now 20 years after the first cash grab goes thud, we get another attempt? Get the fuck outta here. I for one wont watch this piece of shit. Oh, who am I kidding... of course I will. but the question is will you?
