The Hammer Horror Masterpiece Collection: Collectible Busts by Titan Merchandise

As I have grown older I have come to appreciate the value of collectible statues and busts. Not only are these inanimate objects full of fine detail and beautiful craftsmanship, but they become more appealing to older collectors for whom they bring back great memories of the films that inspired them. Usually busts and statues can be quite expensive, with them sometimes fetching 300-500 bucks. But a smaller company called Titan Merchandise is taking a crack at a certain group of legendary British horror characters from the Hammer Films stable and they are pretty reasonably priced. The three statues in the collection feature some of Hammer's most recognizable characters: Christoper Lee as Dracula (he played Drac in SEVEN Hammer movies), Ingrid Pitt as Countess Elizabeth Bathory (from the 1971 classic Countess Dracula), and Peter Cushing as Van Helsing. I am a huge fan of what Hammer was doing back in the 70s with their take on certain horror classic characters, and the team of Cushing and Lee were always among my favorites to watch. But the best part about these fantastic 8" collectibles is that they are relatively low priced at 79.99 a piece. You can head over to the Titan Worldwide page and check all three of these out by clicking here. Now all they need to do is come up with a bust honoring Lee's turn as the Mummy Kharis from Hammer's The Mummy... and then the collection will be complete! Check out detailed pics after the jump...
