I read A LOT of movie news... A LOT!!! But every once and again something slips past me and I have no idea what everyone is talking about. This is a case with Rise of the Guardians, the Dreamworks animated release that will be in theaters on November 21st. This one looks fantastic, with all the heroes of our youth (Santa, the Easter Bunny, etc) protecting children against Pitch (the Boogeyman). The trailer looks magnificent and the character cards they created to describe each one of the figures in the movie make me want to see it even more. Add an all star voice cast that features Chris Pine, Hugh Jackman and Alec Baldwin (among others) and you got my 10 bucks... this one looks to be a holiday season hit.
