R.I.P. Bubba Smith aka Hightower From Police Academy

One of my fondest memories of growing up as an 80's baby would have to be the Police Academy movies. They were so taboo, filled with curses and sex. My parents (as well as all other adults) watched the movies after they thought we had gone to sleep, or when they thought we weren't around... but we were!!! I remember all the outrageousness, all the nudity, all the cussing... c'mon, these movies are wonderful!!! Today came the sad news that one of the films stars, former NFL star player Bubba Smith, passed away at the age of 66. Smith played officer Hightower, and his huge stature (he was like 6'6) made for some funny moments throughout the numerous films in the series.
