Check Out These Steampunk Superhero Trading Cards... Awesome

I saw these wonderful pictures posted on my good friend Cal's website the other day, and I have been meaning to re-post them because they are so great. I completely forgot, then when I was cleaning out my G-mail box I saw how awesome they were and realized I needed them to be posted ASAP. So here they are...  The Union of Superlative Heroes!!!

***Please click Read more below to see the rest of the Steampunk Superheroes***

Here is the official synopsis as per artist Chet Phillips website:
Imagining an alternate world in which Steampunk Superheroes inhabit a Victorian society, the Union of Superlative Heroes are characters from a variety of countries, each with their own unique abilities. 20 cards in all, this set profiles such epic figures as Marquis Le Bat, Stupendous Gent, Empress Amazonia, Plastic Samuel, Lord Wolverton and 14 more. Each card showcases their portrait along with a brief biography and country of origin on the reverse. Cards measure 2 1/4" x 4"- printed in color both sides onto sturdy 14 pt. cover stock. Set is packaged in a handcrafted paper portfolio with gold foil stamp decoration on the label.

You can order your own set by clicking here... Xmas is coming. Order a set for your favorite blogger named Mike D (wink, wink) or someone else you may want to get these for. Wonderful stuff. Thanks Cal & Chet... awesome!!!

  2. These are soooo unspeakably awesome!
'Gentleman Mint' might be my favorite, as well. I like how he did 'Arachnid Kid' with the old school spectacles to give him that realistic spider effect.

I MUST see the other 13! Let's order a set!
