Threadless Artists Bring The Muppet

If you're our kind of people, than I don't have to remind you that 'The Muppets' film is plushly approaching it's curtain date. In conjunction with the event, our friends over at Threadless.com have compiled a page of all of their Muppet inspired tees in time for you to rush a few out for friends and family to wear to the November 23rd weekend opening date. I posted  a few fuzzy favorites after the jump but, please click the link above for the rest. It's (almost) time to get things started!

The lovely Briana sent us these awesome vintage style posters and we just had to post them for your viewing pleasure. X-Men Mashups by Rahzzah

Check out these two mashups from Deviant Artist Rahzzah. Each one of these is spectacular, and I feel like neither of these feel forced. Sometimes mashups can just be a combo of multiple things, but he takes the best of both properties and goes all out. Bravo sir.

The first one we have is a mashup featuring Cyclops and Wolverine being portrayed by Beeker & Animal of The Muppets. Wow... could these characters be any better cast? Animal is the perfectly obvious choice for Logan, but I think Rahzzah really hit the nail on the head with the over sensitive and borderline prissiness of Beeker as Cyclops. Magnificient.

Next up we get a mashup between the X-Men and The Breakfast Club. Honestly, Rahzzah knocked this one out of the park again. Wolvie is perfect as Judd Nelson, and you gotta love Cyclops as the douche jock that was portrayed by Emilio Estevez. This is what a mashup should be!

What The World Needs Now...

... is another Muppet movie. ASAP. And thanks to Mr. Forgetting Sarah Marshall himself (Jason Segal), we are slowly moving towards that goal. The new Muppet movie is going to be epic, and it couldn't come at a better time. Children's movies have moved into an era where they serve a dual purpose: 1) Entertain the kiddies & 2) Keep the parents entertained. Parents buy tickets, and Pixar has proven that if they are done correctly kiddie flicks can get the adults to laugh and cry as well (watch the last 20 minutes of Toy Story 3 or the first 20 minutes of Up and tell me you weren't bawling like a baby... if you didn't cry you are heartless!!!). Megamind just completed its second week on top of the charts, beating out new movies by Denzel & Harrison Ford. Family fare is better then ever, and we owe it to....
