This Taco Bell Birthday Cake Is Epic

Now before you get all disgusted about the intestinal damage that something this big from Taco Bell can cause, let me give you the run down on the real ingredients. We got a snickerdoodle cookie taco shell, Starburst shavings for cheese, green colored coconut for lettuce, chocolate cake for the meat, marshmallow for the sour cream, and licorice tomatoes. Now that sounds delicious. How come I never get a cake like that on my b-day?

TV commercials are a part of our everyday lives as TV viewers. Even though Tivo and DVR have allowed us to "skip through" the commercials, the advertising companies are still trying to peak our interests by coming up with creative commercials. To me, great commercials are an art form and are under appreciated by a society that is always trying to speed through things. Think about it... how many times did you see a great commercial that made you laugh hysterically or want to go out and purchase the advertised product??? And how many times has the best part of the Super Bowl been the commercials during a blow out game??? Whether you want to admit it or not, commercials are cool as shit... and here are some of my favorites.

This week we got Buddy Mignon, lounge singer extraordinaire extolling the virtues of Taco Bell's 'Quad Steak Burrito'. Lots of meat (4 times the steak!!!!) ...and soul, this reminds me of the scene from 'Anchorman' when Ron Burgundy plays the Jazz flute. A solid TV spot. Check it out:



Also, watch this unreal behind the scenes video of Buddy giving you some insight on his love for meat. This guy is great. I can't wait to see more commercials from this guy. "I bit into that steak burrito and I was in Vahalla... that's Thor's heaven!!!". Hysterical...
