So... About Todays Posts

Yeah, so here is the short and long of it. Yesterday I went to Lonestar Bar & Grill in Bayridge to watch the Green Bay Packers play the Chicago Bears followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers facing off against the NY Jets. They had a 50 dollar special that got you all the food and drinks you could want... which translated to me double fisting pints of Guinness and eating a wide assortment of b-b-q meats. Basically, I got shit housed and came home, and then I passed the fuck out. When I got up before work today, I just didn't have it in me to write any posts (probably cause I was still drunk), so I didn't. Tough shit... you don't like it, start your own blog.

Anywho, even though my NFC team (The Packers) came through, the NY Jets did not fare so well. All that shit talking got Rexy and the crew nowhere, and Ben Rapistberger gets himself another shot at a Super Bowl title. So, in spite of the fact that the Jets failed all you NY fans, I won't. Super Bowl + Snow = Priceless

This could be the scene in Feb. 2014... or it could be worse when the Super Bowl makes its FIRST appearance in NY. The NFL announced that the new stadium of the NY Giants and Jets beat out the city of Tampa Bay, Florida for the big game in 2014. While it is not such a surprise that the NFL would want to have the biggest game of the year in the NYC area, it does go against the NFL's policy of having the Super Bowl in a warm weather environment. The game was held in Detroit a few years back, but that was in a dome. What would happen if NY should get pelted with a snow storm? I'll tell you what would happen... it would be freaking awesome!!! I hope it snows 25 inches that week. Sure, that will pretty much guarantee that the NFL will never try a cold weather/open air Big Game ever again, but the fact that we get a chance at a Blizzard Bowl would be worth it!!!
