On The 6th Day of Christmas (2012), CCD Gave To Me...
Sometimes we have to give the newcomers some shine, and there was no bigger newcomer to the celebrity scene than Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen. The British Columbia native was discovered by Justin Bieber and the Biebs helped get her number 1 hit song 'Call Me Maybe' out there... and the rest is history. The song became a smash, the melody is undeniably addicting, and ole Carly Rae is not anything to bad to look at. In fact, I think she is gorgeous. Loving the bangs kiddo. here are a few candid shots of Ms. Jepsen from the 2012 holiday season. Enjoy the pics after the jump...

Michael Buble Gives The Spider-Man Theme Some Jazz Swag...

... and thank god Emo-haired Toby McGuire was nowhere in sight! This awesome jazz version of the Spidey theme came to my attention courtesy of brother Cal, but the link he sent me was broke. So I headed over to Youtube and searched Michael Buble /Spiderman... and I was hit with a ton of videos! I picked this one because it is set to footage from The Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon, and that show is bad ass. Enjoy the complete video after the jump!

SNL Throwback of the Week #18 6/5/10
I am a huge Saturday Night Live fan. One of my earliest memories was of my parents watching SNL every Saturday while we were tucked in our bedrooms, and sometimes being allowed to watch for a bit. The show has gone through its ups and downs over its 35 year run, but the fact that it is still on the air after 35 years is a testament to the staying power of the show. Lorne Michaels is a genius at finding and developing young, comedic talent. SNL has produced a bevy of stars over the years, from Eddie Murphy to Tina Fey. The show is doing well again thanks to Ms. Fey and the rest of the team, but I love watching clips from the old shows. Every Saturday I will give you guys one of my favorites. This weeks clip features Mad Men's Jon Hamm and singer Michael Buble as partners in a new restaurant. They are not playing characters in the sketch, they are playing themselves... and they are promoting their all new ham and champagne restaurant, "Hamm and Buble". Everthing seems normal between the two celebs, until Hamm walks of camera and Buble makes a cry for rescue. Absolutely hysterical, this is why I love Saturday Night Live. They take two guys who are not known for comedy and come up with an exciting way to make them funny... and they do it seemlessly. Hamm is great, and I recommend you watching this whole episode on Hulu because he was a great host. Enjoy the clip. Live from my livingroom, it's Saturday Night!!!
