The CCD Podcast: Episode #16 - In Defense Of... Vol #1 or 'Optmus Prime, A Living Painting and an Ewok Walk Into A Bar'

So for Episode #16 of the CCD podcast we decided to start a little feature called 'In Defense Of...' in which each panel member basically gets a chance to defend something that they hold dear but, is widely panned by others. You know, that really unpopular opinion you have about a director... or maybe a movie/TV show, or even a musician or comic. Whatever they want to defend, the panel member gets their chance to defend their long lost love of a hated project... and then the other two members get to T off on them for being ridiculous. It is a lot of fun, and in this episode Joe Esq and Mike D join Jedi Rob for a trip to the nerd opinion courtroom. This should be fun... LOL. You See... Michael Bay Isn't So Bad, He Is A Perfectionist !!!

You gotta love The Onion. Those guys know how to exploit a situation. When the 2014 SD Comic Con rolled around people from every news outlet, both reputable and unreasonable, flocked to Cali to cover it. But while all of these people were trying to gets scoops, attend panels, and  be the first ones with some sort of "news"... The Onion just does what it does best: Make shit up that sounds good enough to fool people to be true!!! First they leaked a great story about a new "Green Goblin" that would be left handed... and people all thought it was true. Then they outdid even themselves... they created this amazing behind the scenes documentary that captures the in depth nature that Michael Bay goes to in ensuring that everything is factually correct in any films he is associated with. Everything... down to the turtle cocks in his newly produced TMNT film!!!! Hol-y SHIT, this is amazing!!! And they even had to CGI the fake dongs in order for the footage for the faux behind the scenes feature... which means the footage is in fact REAL (if you follow my logic anyway...). Yup, this is great. The Onion, never stop being the best at what you do....

A CCD Rant by Mike D: Hey Fanboys & Fellow Internet Blowhards: Leave Michael Bay Alone!!!

Hehehehe... I know that the title of my upcoming rant ALONE is enough to make nerds everywhere spill their Red Bull all over their wireless keyboards as they gasp in horror. Plus, I think I just heard Jeff Bond drop dead of a heart attack at his job, and possibly an earthquake from the explosion of anger from Kristen Grillo out on the West Coast!!! But before I get into my latest rant, let me preface this by saying something right off the bat: 


I, Michael DeVito, am not a Bay apologist and could give a fuck less what he does as a professional. 

I am simply writing this rant because while most internet Fan boys & self proclaimed 'GEEKS' who should be more intelligent than they appear to be need to shut the fuck up. Stop blaming Michael Bay for all the problems that happen in the adaptions he is a part of. Transformers may not be your cup of tea, but it certainly wasn't made by Bay himself. Now there is this flap about what Bay said about the new TMNT movie that will contain Turtles that are of an "alien" origin. Hey gang, I got news for you: If this is true, it PROBABLY WASN'T BAY'S IDEA IN THE FIRST PLACE , NOR IS IT HIS IDEA ALONE!!!! What the fuck is wrong with you people?

Kenny Powers, MFCEO... (Holy F'n Shit)!!!!

"I killed you..."- Hysterical!!!

This is the new promo advertisement from K Swiss featuring Danny McBride as his alter ego from Eastbound & Down, Kenny "Motherfucking" Powers. If you have not seen the show (you better make time, one of the funniest shows on TV) or the Kenny/K-Swiss commercials in the past (we covered them last year, click here to see), this clip will probably take you by surprise. I know I was shocked when I saw McBride's brash, over-the-top character hawking a real product in his insane way. Kudos to K Swiss for saying fuck the status quo and thinking outside the box in order to attract a new clientele. If they want to compete with Nike and some of the other big shoe companies, it doesn't hurt to feature some high profile athletes (Patick Willis, Urijah Faber, Matt Cassel, etc ) and cool celebrities like Michael Bay and Jillian Michaels doing some outrageous shit. A perfect combo that makes me super excited for season 3 of Eastbound and Down, which is coming up soon. The language in this one is quite colorful, so don't go blasting it in the office... unless your boss is a badass like KP baby!!!!

OHC of the Day: Rosie Huntington Whiteley

Oh, you Brits and your unbelievably hot women.... how I envy you so!!! Imagine the pressure of having to fill the huge sex symbol heels of Meagan Fox in your first movie. What if you don't pull it off? Well, no worries. Even though you may not know Rosie Huntington Whiteley name just yet, her role as an Obscure Hot Chick is sure to be short lived. She was hand picked by Michael Bay to relieve Fox of her eye candy duties in the third installment of the Transformers series, Dark of the Moon. She lights up the screen and I can honestly say had me in awe (mouth hanging open) while watching the movie. She is gorgeous. A former face of Burberry and a full fledged Victoria Secret Angel, Whiteley is making the jump into acting full time. She reminds me of Cameron Diaz in the Mask... lets see if she has the staying power that Diaz has had. She certainly has the body & beauty to do it.

Michael Bay Finally Comes Clean About Megan Fox Being A Douche

I think this one is hilarious. Two years ago Megan Fox announced she was leaving The Transformer franchise that made her the obsession of guys across America because director Michael Bay "... wanted to be like Hitler on the set" and "... he (Bay) is a nightmare to work for". I suspected that this was just another case of a celeb making something up to cover the fact that she got fired. At the time, Bay towed the line and said that there was no issue and Fox just wanted to move on to other projects. I knew this was fishy....

She is hot...

Fast forward two years.  Fox has made a few stinkers (Jennifer's Body anyone?) and never capitalized on the bazillion magazine covers she has graced. 'Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon' is set to open and I bet Fox wishes she would have stayed on the mega franchise. Fox has stuck to her guns, but Bay apparently couldn't take anymore and lost his mind during a GQ interview for the July issue. After being told that Fox was still bad mouthing him and saying she left the franchise, Bay exploded. He dropped some gems about Fox's work ethic, what really happened to make her leave the movie, and WHO really made the choice to 86 Fox. Here they are:

On Fox's work ethic: "She was in a different world, on her Blackberry. You gotta stay focused." "I'm sorry Megan. I'm sorry I made you work 12 hours. I'm sorry that I making you show up on time. Making movies is not all warm and fuzzy!"

On who pulled the trigger on firing Fox: "And you know, the Hitler thing... Steven (Spielberg) said FIRE HER RIGHT NOW".

The article interviews 60 other collaborators that have worked with Bay and sing his praises. Say what you want about his movies, but it seems that actors and co-workers love working with Bay. It was noble of Bay to try and allow Fox the chance to have a career, but now he has had enough and told the truth. Spielberg don't play that Nazi shit... he hit her with the patented Trump "You're Fired!" with the quick-fast.  Bay also adds that Fox texted him 3 months ago to see how he was doing. Hmmmmm... whats wrong Meg? Career not going as good as it would have been if you cashed that mega check from Transformers 3? I just have one question: How did Megan Fox text anyone with her mutant Troll Thumbs???

Hi, this is Jeff Bond here. I usually don't write much in my articles on CCD, but when I saw this picture from the upcoming Michael Bay film Transformers 3: Darkside of the Moon, I had to weigh in. You guys know how much I hate Michael Bay... but thats all n the past now. Just look at this awesome poster for Transformers 3:

Holy. Shit!!!! I am super excited for this film, and it seems as if Bay has learned the error of his ways and is on the right track here. And the abbreviation is genius... you gotta love the TF3 baby!!! I'm all in on this one... and I'll finally admit that Mike D has gotten me to see the light on Michael Bay & the Transfromers franchise. Stay posted for more updates...
