A to Z Blogger Challenge 2013 - Day 4 - D is for Daredevil

Yup... I know it is hard to believe that I would pick Daredevil as my movie for the letter D in the 2013 A to Z Blogger challenge. Of all the movies to pick from, why Daredevil? It is such a widely regarded bomb of a film, and most people who have seen it have hated it with a passion. But the truth is there are two reasons why I chose the Ben Affleck grenade as my choice of the day. 1) The movie has a directors cut, and that directors cut is drastically different from the theatrical release. So different that I bet that 75% of people who seen Daredevil and hated it would probably change their minds about the movie if they see the directors cut. It is one of the best DVD's I ever bought, and totally redeems the movie for me. 2) Jennifer Garner. Yup, that about sums it up. The point of this challenge was to pick a movie I love and then highlight a beautiful actress from that film. Jennifer Garner certainly fits the bill with her portrayal as Electra. I know her solo movie sucked, and most people can't even understand how she got a shot at it considering how bad Daredevil did. But can anyone really argue the hotness of JG, the future Mrs. Affleck? I don't think so. So for all you real geeks out there, try and check out the directors cut of Daredevil for the complete experience. A To Z Blogging Challenge - Day #4 - Letter D - Danger Mouse

I really loved this 80's cartoon that was one of the first English series to cross over and achieve mainstream success here in the USA. I fondly remember watching the adventures of this super sarcastic & cocky James Bond-esque mouse with an eye patch and his spectacled sidekick, 'Penfold' (a hamster), doing battle against various villains such as 'Baron Silas', 'Greenback', and 'Count Duckula'. 'Count Duckula' himself was re-invented in his own cartoon series as a hero instead of a villain after he was defeated by 'Danger Mouse'. That cartoon was also very cool.

The series has lived on for over 25 years, has 161 total episodes, and will forever be a part of my childhood memories. That theme song rings in my ears to this day... and in my opinion DM is right up there with Mickey & Splinter as some of the coolest rodents I have ever experienced. Watch out for that bomb DM!!!
