Film Posters From Around The World: The Texas Chainsaw Masscre (1974)

Forget all the remakes, sequels, prequels, and whatever else there was ever made... there is only one Texas Chainsaw Masscre. It's Toby Hooper's 1974 masterpiece, and despite the fact that its over 35 years old, it still sends shivers down my spine. My step mom even told me that after seeing the movie in a double feature after Night of the Living she could not LOOK (not eat, look!!!) at chopmeat for over 2 months!!!!! You are not a horror head if this isnt in your top 10, and if you want a break from all the PG-13 horror of new Hollywood then give this one a shot. Enjoy the posters...

Film Posters From Around The World Vol#9 - The Departed

The Departed is a 2006 masterpiece of a movie from master filmmaker Martin Scorsese. It paired a Hollywood titan in Jack Nicholson with two fast rising stars, Leonardo Dicaprio and Matt Damon. The movie also features an excellent supporting cast of Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin, Martin Sheen, Vera Farmiga, and Ray Winstone as various cops and robbers playing a role in the ongoing war for Boston's streets. The film is a re-telling of the Japanese trilogy Infernal Affairs, and also features some elements of real life gangster Whitey Bulger's life as a Boston based gangster. The film won Best Picture and got Scorsese his coveted Best Director Oscar. I absolutely love this film, and that's why I picked it for this weeks Film Posters From Around The World. If you have not seen it, make this a priority. That's that, enjoy the posters and give me some comments and thoughts on the classic film.

Film Posters From Around The World Vol#8- The Shawshank Redemption

I am a huge fan of this Stephen King adapted movie, and an even bigger fan of the director Frank Darabont. This is one of the best movies I have ever seen... the prison break story to compare all the rest of them against. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman give career highlight performances as Andy and Red, and you never wanted to root for two bad guys to win more in your whole life. Enjoy these posters from around the world.

Film Posters From Around The World #6- Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn

This one of my childhood favorites.... a true classic. These are the kind of results that you get when you give a genius like Sam Raimi enough money to fund his vision. I love Evil Dead I, but Evil Dead 2 is better because they had better funding to get it done. Enjoy!!!

Film Posters From Around The World Vol #5 - The Man With The Golden Gun

USA Alternate

This is probably my favorite James Bond movie... and that says a lot because I am a HUGE Bond fan. Christopher Lee is a great villain, Odd Job is the motherfucking man (or half a man... whatever!!!) and Roger Moore is THE BEST BOND EVER (let the hate commence... now!!!) Enjoy these posters from around the world and tell me what you think in the comment section below.

Film Posters From Around The World Volume #3- Hudson Hawk

I absolutely love this 1991 schlock-fest that stars Bruce Willis as the greatest cat burgular on the planet, Hudson Hawk. His sidekick, Danny Aiello, is hysterical... as are other members of the cast. They are trying to steal a valuable atificat that was created by Leonardo DaVinci, but after that things spiral outta control. It's cheesy, sure... but so what. Not all movies are Gone With The Wind, ya dig???
