The Adventures of Baron Munchausen by Gretchen Natvig

I have long been a fan of Baron Munchausen... it's one of those cult classic movies that most people know the title of, a few people have may have seen, and even less people absolute love! It's a classic adventure story and has always been a lot of fun for me to watch. I recently shared the viewing experience of this movie with my 9 year old son, and he loved it! While I was over at Super Punch last night I saw this movie poster from Gretchen Natvig. It is part of the Silver Screen Societies monthly art collection last month, which focused on Baron Munchausen. A great piece of poster art from a great movie! Prepare Yourself For The One Of The Most Disturbing Movie Of All Time

You guys know how much I love sick shit... its like I am a glutton for punishment and keep actively seeking out the worst, sickest shit too possibly watch. Just when I thought I had seen it all (Canibal Holocaust anyone???) comes the 1989 cult smash Santa Sangre from director Alejandro Jodorowsky. Old Ally boy is a sick fuck... check out El Topo and The Holy Mountain if you don't believe me... but Santa Sangre is supposed to be his worst (i.e. best-est!!!) most extreme movie ever. It had eluded my viewing pleasure up until now because it had never been on DVD here in the USA... but that's all going to change on Jan. 25th!!! The special edition DVD will be on sale that day, and just in case you need a visual example of what you will see in it... well, here you go:

Yup, you just saw that.... a bus with downe syndrome patients just got re-routed to a tranny strip club by a Mexican greaser pimp that made them do coke of a switchblade.... and then a guy gets mugged after he was stabbed by a cripple with underdeveloped legs. Yup, I am copping this one!!! I'll let you know just how sick it is. Like Jay-Z said "I told you watch crazy movies... No, Mike D did that, so hopefully you won't have to go through that!!!". See you soon...
