I am one of the few people who actually saw the 1st GI Joe movie and actually liked it. I say that because there are a ton of people shit ton of people who bashed the movie and refused to watch it but yet still judged the movie like they new it stunk... in actuality I think a lot of people would be pleasantly surprised if they gave it a shot. Whether you saw it or not, a second Joe film is on the horizon and is due at the end of June during summer blockbuster season. Despite the fact that the guy directing it, Jon Chu, is the same guy who directed Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and Step Up 3-D... It seems like they got a lot right, and the action scenes look great. The ninjas look bad ass and that was Jinx!!!! Yeah buddy... chick ninjas are always bad ass!!! Add in Bruce Willis & The Rock, plus mountain climbing sword fights and I for one can't FUCKING wait to see this one.

One thing that got me pissed about the 1st movie was that the trailer played up the whole "mech-suit" portion of the movie, and that turned people off. Meanwhile, the mech suits didn't have shit to do with the flick and they were only in the movie for like 5 minutes. GI Joe purists became angry and didn't even want to see the flick... which is a shame because it was actually pretty good. This time it seems that they went more straight forward and laid it all out on the table. Hopefully people will give this one more of a shot. GI Joe: Retaliation will hit theaters on June 29th, 2012.
