At the end of Final Crisis, Bruce Wayne met his demise at the hands of Darkseid... or did he? Even though Batman has been replaced by former Robin Dick Greyson and his son Damian Wayne has taken over as Robin, Bruce Wayne is not dead. He has been displaced in time... and he is pissed. Writer Grant Morrison takes us on a 6 issue mini series entitled The Return of Bruce Wayne, and in this six isssue series we will get to see Bruce time jump from era to era desperately trying to get back to modern day Gotham City. Through the 6 issue series we will see Batman as a caveman, a pilgrim/puritan, a pirate, a cowboy, a 50's style private investigator, and finally as he makes his triumphate return to Gotham from the dead. The pics on the top are previews of each genre Morrison plans to explore, and below are detailed sketches of pirate and caveman Batman. The series started in May and will be monthly. What better way to spend your summer than watching Batman jump through time like a bad ass version of Jack from Lost. Hey, wait a minute... maybe thats who built the statue... aw, forget it.
