Game of Thrones is at the height of its popularity due to the hit HBO TV series, and people are discovering George R. R. Martin's popular book series even more now. So how could you make it even cooler? Well, if you are artist Titan 413 you can simply Mario-ize it!!!! Check out this awesome map of Westeros done in the style of a Super Mario Brothers 3 map. This is awesome even if you don't know all the little ins and outs of Martin's world, but if you do it is even cooler. I love the land beyond The Wall & The Twins the best. What If Game of Thrones Were Set In Manhattan?
One of the coolest parts of the Game of Thrones HBO series has to be seeing the land of Westeros from the "A Song of Ice & Fire" books being brought to life. The ruggedness of Winterfell, the sheer cold & desolate atmosphere of The Wall, the urban aspects of King's Landing, the unsettled wilderness of the lands beyond the Narrow Sea... all of these spectacular locations have been brought to life with such grace and authenticity on the show thus far. But what if the show was set in modern day New York City? Where would Casterly Rock's riches be? Where would the Iron islands lie? Check out this insane interactive map from the Rent Share blog after the jump...

Springfield Becomes Westeros, Burns Is King... Just Another Opening Scene On The Simpsons!!!
Can a homage get any better than this? Matt Groening and the crew over at The Simpson's used their opening credits to pay an homage to the HBO show "Game of Thrones" by recreating the map of Westeros used to introduce the HBO show, but subbing in Springfield's geography instead. This works so well, and you have to love Mr. Burns as Robert Baratheon... Check out the original Game of Thrones opening as well as the Simpsons homage after the jump...
