I'm Dreaming Of A Red Christmas: A Christmas Story of Fire & Ice by Anna Marie Jung & Andrew Bridgman

I always like the original comics over at Dorkly, but this might be one of the funniest ones I can remember seeing. George R.R. Martin may very well be the most beloved and hated man by the same people in the world... people adore his books and the HBO show based on it, yet hate him mercilessly for the excessive waiting that he puts people through in between books. People also seem to hate him for the uncanny ability he has to kill of seemingly main characters on a whim. This comic plays on both of those things, with a bit of a Christmas twist. A perfect wrap up of the holidays (see what I did there... holiday/wrap... I'm a genius). Carpool Buddies Of Doom by Justin Jordan & Rafer Roberts

Web comics are killing it right now... and why wouldn't they? They are super easy to upload and distribute to the masses, and once one gets a bit of traction on Reddit, Tumblr or one of the other sharing websites it just tends to snowball. Last week we highlighted a killer take on Batman called The Deal, and this week we take a funny look at 'Carpool Buddies of Doom'. Carpool Buddies focuses on the daily commute of two of the worst villains in the history of comics, Thanos and Darkseid. It is smartly written by Justin Jordan and illustrated by Rafer Roberts. Pretty great... and in the second installment they throw in Doctor Doom to the group to make things even funnier! Great find by my main man Cal, and I will certainly be looking out for more to come from the duo on their site. Check out the first two installments after the jump....

Cloverfield Rebooted by Electric Sheep Comix

I came across this comic strip of a Cloverfield Reboot over at Electric Sheep Comix and was blown away by the direction that they decided to take this reboot in. A monster full of cake? That can't turn out BAD, can it? This definitely ain't the kind of monster I saw ripping apart the Brooklyn Bridge... lol! Check out the full comic strip after the jump...

Deadpool: 2 Legit 2 Quit...

This cover makes me want read this 'Deadpool' book, despite the fact that he is in like 41 titles a month. C'mon, the dude is wearing MC Hammer pants, Gazelle glasses, and a jewel encrusted Thor-style hammer with Oaktown 3-5-7 back-up dancers. That's pretty bad ass, no?

Plus the new title is being written by Chris Hastings, the creator of 'Dr. McNinja' (if you have never read this web comic, click here to read it now!!! It is incredible and totally free online.) Trust me, this guy is perfect for the Merc with a Mouth.
