Take A Peek Into The World Of 'Wreck It Ralph'

'Wreck It Ralph' is Disney's newest foray into the original animation market, and it looks pretty great. For those of you guys who have never heard of the movie, it revolves around a villain in a classic video game who has had enough of being the bad guy. So he leaves his familiar game world and goes on to try his hand at being good for a change... and he is voiced by John C Reilly!!! I am loving the fact that Disney licensed a bunch of classic game characters (watch the trailer and you will see some doozy cameos in there!!!) for the flick and it looks fun. Plus it is going to shine a light on the coin-op era of arcades, which was the late 70s/early 80s and some of the best years of my life!!! This one kicks off the 2012 Holiday season when it comes out on November 2nd. Enjoy the trailer after the jump.

Pac-Man Gets A Samurai Makeover

What if Pac-Man was a samurai warrior and the ghosts he was battling were Japanese Oni spirits? Artist Jared Moraitis decided to come up with his own interpretation of that and it is absolutely outstanding! This is so vibrant and full of color and the tie in is so apparent, so in my eyes this is a perfectly executed mash-up. Mr. Whaite made this very creative advertisement for a Shining/Pacman video game mashup featuring Jack-Man on his quest through the Overlook Maze as he avoids the Grady Girl Ghosts and eat axe pallets to capture his family!!!! God, I wish this was playable...

This reminds me of the scene from Funny Farm where Chevy Chase is eating "lamb fries", and the waitress informs him that he is only a few away from the record. He promptly swallows a few more, then almost chokes on his vomit when he finds out that "lamb fries" are sheep testicles.... can you image the look on Pac Man's face if he found out he was eating shit all these years? Pinky & The Crew Better Watch Their Back...
