Welcome To New York City 'Melo!!!!!

The Knicks have finally made a move that I am extremely happy over. Sure, I was happy after they signed Amar'e. He is a beast. Dude is the man. But 'Melo, Mr. Anthony if your nasty... one of my all time favorite players to ever suit up a pair of kicks, coming to NYC??? You gotta be kidding me!!! I am finally happy to say I am a Knick fan again in public after all these years.

I have loved Melo's game since he led the Syracuse Orange to a national title as a freshman. He was a beast then, and still is. He has been overshadowed his whole career by Lebron, and now he gets a shot to annually fuck Lebron out of a chance at the chip. God is good. We got Amar'e and Melo locked up for at least 4 years... and a shot at CP3 (Chris Paul) or Deron Williams next year when they become free agents. I think there is a group of superstars making moves in NYC... so lets go!!!

So the Lebron James free agent saga is over. And as usual the Knicks are on the short end of the stick. So that means that not only did they not get LBJ, but they let him join Chris Bosh and D-Wade in South Beach to form one of the illest trilogies of all time.

So Fuck You Lebron... Fuck You Very Much!!! I'm not mad, I do see the appeal of The Miami Heat. I'm just a bit disappointed, thats all. Good luck to the Three Amigos in South Beach.... except when they play the Knickerbockers!!! 

Today Is The Day... Come On Home Lebron!!!

Today is the day Lebron James will make his decision on where he will be playing basketball for the next 5 or so years. As a die hard Knick fan, I hope he chooses to follow Amar'e Stoudemaire to Madison Square Garden and restore some prominence back to Broadway. I ran this fan made picture a while back, but I hope this comes true. If the Prince of Zamunda could find happiness in NYC, why not King James??? Tune in tonight at 9pm eastern on ESPN for the press conference. Lets go Knicks!!!

One Down, One To Go... Welcome to NYC Amar'e

The NY Knicks have FINALLY started moving in the right direction after agreeing in principle to a 5 year/ 100 million dollar contract with superstar forward Amar'e Stoudemire. Contracts can not officially be signed till Thursday, but the team and the former Sun have promised to make the deal happen. The Knicks have tons of issues to address on the court, and Amar'e definitely is a step in the right direction. He is an explosive post player that can run the floor and most importantly he knows coach Mike D'Antoni's system. And when he goes up... well, jus ask Tim Duncan to my left what happens. He can fly, and he makes posters out of people on the regular. Should be fun to be on the other end of one of those highlights for a change.

On a side note, the Knicks are trying to show Lebron James they are serious about building a contender. By locking up the 27 year old power forward for five years, they are showing Lebron he will have pieces in place when he gets here to make a run for the title. Lebron is taking a few more days to make his decision, but is expected to have decided on which team he will suit up for next year. Lets hope this is something we can look forward to on 34th st. for the better part of the next decade:

Now that the Celtics have ruined my NBA post season by elminating Lebron James and the Cavs from the playoffs, there is only one question on everyones mind: Is Lebron going to come to New York to become a Knick??? Will he follow in Eddie Murphy's footsteps and come to NYC to fulfill all his princely dreams??? One can only hope... 48 days till the first day of free agent signings!!! Lets Go!
