Last week I featured the work of Marco D'Alfonso, who I proclaimed to be the "king of the mash-ups" due to his awesome ability to combine two properties perfectly (click here to see that post). On a very sad evening in L.A. 13 years ago, the world was robbed of one of the greatest rappers of all time. Biggie was much more then a rapper... he was NYC, he was the one that was going to bring hip hop home to where it started. Can't believe that it has been sooooo long since we lost the black Frank White.
