Technology Is Amazing These Days...

Wow... just wow. I was over at The Huffington Post and I saw this interesting article about an amazing Stop Motion short film entitled 'Gulp' that was shot using three Nokia cell phones. Holy shit. I expected a crappy Stop Motion effort that would have been impressive no matter what considering it was shot using cell phones. Sure they used cell phones, but they were equipped with 12 mega-pixel cameras!!!! No wonder why this looks so great. Technologies Of The Future Brought Back From The Past...

I came across these fictional product advertisments by artist Alex Varanese that portray appliances we use in our everyday life... but the catch is that these are how the advertisments would have looked had the products been created in 1977. Lots of wood grain, square edges, and qualities of former appliances of the same nature (The gameboy looks alot like an old atari, etc.) Here are the ads, I hope you enjoy them.
