It's Summer in the NYC... so what better way to celebrate than another Spike Lee Joint? Spike is heading back to the Big Apple with Red Hook Summer, a film that has built up a lot of buzz coming off it's premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. It has been trimmed down a bit (from 132 min to 121 minutes), but it seems as if Lee is heading back to his early types of films with this one. Being the huge fan that I am of hits like Do The Right Thing, Jungle Fever, 25th Hour & Crooklyn, I am really excited to see my man Spike back in the NY groove.
