I became a horror hound, someone who couldn't get enough of those types of movies. I know they are not for everyone, but they are for me. TCM put me over the edge. I had seen scary stuff before, but that was the turning point. I love horror forever because of it Mike D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/04034128762993882657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8890300254470726941.post-19232332237354323582013-01-11T14:31:36.910-05:002013-01-11T14:31:36.910-05:00When I was twelve I had the chance to get my proje...When I was twelve I had the chance to get my projectionist's license at Brandon University. They had a remarkable film library. For the final they had us running the theatre's projectors for a 48 hour film festival that had everything from silent films to modern horror. I ran the show for 'Angels With Dirty Faces' the James Cagney classic but stayed to watch things you would never see on TV at the time like the original Night of the Living Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. That weekend scared the hell out of me and changed my life as I realized the potention of film to really get into your head. I never watched TCM again but I don't need to. I will never forget that movie.Kalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00663751053844271849noreply@blogger.com
